Campus Quality: My school has modern, up-to-date facilities that are easily accessible every day. The staff and faculty are always around to provide help and answer any questions as well. The students are all wonderful to be around and really friendly.

Scholarships: I received some financial aid. However, it was hard to raise enough money for both semesters because of how much the school cost to go there. While I was working on situating my financial aid, there was some miscommunication on how they ran things which caused some issues and doubts about me still being able to attend. The best advice I can give for someone trying to get financial aid for Cal Baptist is to do well in high school to earn more money. Also, filling out a lot a scholarships is definitely helpful.

Local Area: The Riverside area where California Baptist University is located is a lovely area. There are local store and food restaurants available that are walking distance. Some attractions include the ice skating rink as well as the mall. The ice rink is especially enjoyable during the summer. The mall is always a nice place to enjoy a friend's company. During the winter the Mission Inn is decorated for Christmas which is a fun activity to enjoy. It is a major attraction to the Riverside area. The safety on campus is securing. The campus security patrols all hours of the day and there are emergency phones placed around the parking lot. The best part about this campus are the attitudes the staff and students have towards other people. They are friendly and generous. Everyone is respectful to one another and they are helpful in all aspects.

Academics: I am at CBU to complete pre requisites for Loma Linda's Dental Hygiene program. Most of my science professors have been great and are so full of knowledge. The classes were tough however I definitely have been learning a lot.

Technology: The computers at the school are mostly good. The computer lab is available to all students. However the internet connection is constantly shutting down.

Campus Food: The best food in town - better than any I've had on any college campus! And, the variety is like being at The Taste of LA!

4 College Junior

Majors: The Professional Studies Program is top notch. It caters to the working student and offers the 3 avenues to continuing education: on campus, hybrid and online. The individual attention is an added bonus. I am enjoying the flexibility to continue school while still working full time and taking care of my family.

Campus Quality: I'm very new to the campus, but I have experienced the cafe'. . . and, it's awesome!

Campus Quality: The Professional Student department is phenomenal! The individual attention for each working student is above and beyond exceptional.

Health & Safety: Health and Safety at CBU is fantastic! There are always security personnel around at night, e-mails with safety tips and advice are frequently sent to students, and there are few thefts-the only ones that I've heard of are when non-students come in and steal bikes and boards. As for physical safety, however, Cal Baptist is practically perfect.

Scholarships: The financial aid process at CBU was excellent for me personally. The staff involved is extremely helpful and do their best to make attending the school financially possible for you. They offer many, many scholarships and grants- I received the CBU grant, a multiple-sibling scholarship, and an $8000 academic scholarship.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I am currently a nursing student and we do clinicals at different hospitals. We also know that because these hospitals know who we are and what school we go to we are more likely to get a job straight out of college.

Health & Safety: They do not carry guns but are consistently walking around campus or driving around campus. If there are any complaints they handle it in a timely manner. There are cameras all over the campus and when there are any disturbances the students are notified via email or if it is a serious emergency than the students are sent a text message.

5 College Freshman

Academics: The classes I have taken so far have been, for the most part, outstanding. The professors are friendly, helpful, and professional. I not only like them as professors; I like them and respect them as people.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I have never seen anyone use drugs on campus, nor have I smelled drugs. I'm not naive enough to think that it never happens, but if it does, it happens very quietly. Rules are very well-enforced.

Academics: The professors at California Baptist University are, in general, helpful and passionate about their field of study. If you have a question, they will answer it to the best of their ability. I've had professors completely change my view of the subject they teach, simply because they themselves are so enthusiastic.

Campus Food: The cafeteria at California Baptist University is phenomenal. The cafeteria is beautiful and very spacious and there is a wide variety of meals served.

Academics: I have found being a Psychology major in California Baptist University very rewarding due to the approach taken in the classrooms regarding the subjects discussed. There is not as much of a one-sided or cynical view about scientific observation as there has been during my encounters at other colleges.

4 College Senior

Diversity: There is a great diversity at California Baptist University and due to the majority's invovlement in the Christian faith it makes for a largely positive and friendly student body.

5 College Senior

Academics: As a newer student to California Baptist University I have found so far that the registration process is amazingly simple. Staff are always on hand over the phone and through e-mail to help whenever a student has questions. They are extremely helpful and go out of their way to cater to their students.

Local Area: California Baptist University has a fun-loving environment with a phenomenally supportive faculty and student body. Great attitudes all around and positive Christian outlook and support.

3 College Freshman

Administration: You can have a social life at CBU just not by drinking or drug use. The campus police will first give you a worrying but if the defiance goes on students can lose scholarships or a spot on a team or even overall behave if one Choses to drink or do other things do it off and away from campus. It's always better to not. Healthier also

Technology: California baptist offers computer labs and a library filled with computers but they do tend to fill up fast during crunch time such as finals midterms or final projects. Having your own computer can be a wonderful thing to have but not too necessary to get work done. The wifi is amazing and does not lag. And printing is even better at five cents for every two pages can be helpful when ink at home is low.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Due to the fact that this school is a faith based school there are not many parties with drinking and what not but the late night activities that are organized to go on are amazingly awesome. They allow a safe and positive environment to meet really nice people and have a great time while growing in your faith.

Campus Quality: My school is very well taken care of. It has a perfect small college experience for those who are truly willing to seek their spiritual life. At the moment I am considering leaving, not because of the school, but because I wish to relocate. The downside about my school is that it is very small and I wish to attend a university with a much larger campus.
