Transportation: There is no on Campus shuttle system, but because the school is so small, it is not entirely necessary, but it would help a lot.

Scholarships: easy. Still will cost your a pretty penny to attend.

Health & Safety: I've never once felt unsafe on campus health-wise or safety-wise. The administration is excellent at keeping students up-to-date on campus happenings.

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of food options near California Baptist. A lot of little 'hole in the wall' places too, with great prices and amazing food. Try downtown Riverside, which is just about ten minutes down the street from the university. There are also a good amount of the chain restaurants for those too skeptic to venture out.

Weather: A few rainy days here and there just like anywhere else in Southern California but it is generally very nice weather. Sunny skies and temperate. Perfect or outdoor activities.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a very large variety of dining around campus. Many of the restaurants will give CBU students discounts as well.

Weather: For those who love sun and warmth, the weather at CBU is absolutely amazing. I've lived in So Cal all of my life and I love that there are rarely cold, gloomy days. Walking to classes, hanging out with friends outside of Wanda's or Brisco's, and attending outdoor events is totally easy with the great weather at Cal Baptist.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a large variety of off-campus dining options. In terms of ethnic diversity, there is Korean food, Chinese food, Thai food, Mexican food, and more. The range of niceness is also quite wide-- there is everything from McDonald's and Del Taco to Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang's, and so on.

Health & Safety: There is 24/7 Public Safety here. Security is always checking the grounds whether it is night or day. They are either on their bicycles or electric carts roaming around all the campus. Even when it is really late at night and you feel a little nervous to walk to your car, apartment, or anywhere, you can call them right up and will escort you. Very low campus crime; the school is gated all around with locks. There is only a couple of entry ways that you can only use with a swipe of your student id. Otherwise, you will need to enter from the front gate where there is supervision. The community is great and for the most part trustworthy. Many people ride around on their skateboards or bikes and don´t even lock them up. There are too many people around for anything to get stolen. It is just like a CBU family, where most of the time if things were to get left behind or lost, somebody will end up turning it in. It is safe here.

Off-Campus Dining: It is just like any other community. There is grocery stores and restaurants near by. There is a mall right down the street. There is pretty much everything you need surrounding Cal Baptist University; I say it is in a perfect location. Prices are about the same as anywhere else. Student discounts to local movie theaters and more! Transportation is what makes it all so much easier... It is FREE! The public transportation (Metro) is free for CBU students. Just show them your student ID and you can ride anywhere on any bus in the city of Riverside. The metro can take you right down the streets within a mile to the nearest bank, grocery store, restaurants, mall, movie theater, etc. It is all local.

Majors: I am so happy where I am at today; It is a blessing. There is not much more to say. This program has it all for me and I am pleased to stay here for the next 4+ years of my life. My career goals: I plan on majoring in Business Administration; concentrating in International Business and Business Management. I want to minor in a Christian Studies, more along the lines of International Studies or Global Studies because it goes hand on hand with International Business. I want to combine all of this with missionary work. There are many things I plan on doing with this education, and Cal Baptist is there to prepare me for this. I do not worry on finding a job in my field when I graduate. I have faith in God, and I know that it will all work out at the right time; God´s time.

Majors: I have not had one yet but I am definitely looking on getting one since I am planning on pursuing my education in Business Administration. I know that by taking internships, it will better prepare me for the career world. I will have more of an advantage than someone who has never had a internship.

Majors: California Baptist University is everything you can imagine in a college. I am very satisfied with where I am at. The education here is amazing, and the activities offered are incredibly awesome. They also host many free events. There is a great community here, and not just any but a spiritual community. There are always people greeting each other and having biblical/non-biblical conversations. This is a great place to start off the years of our future. Get ahead, and apply today! They help plan for our futures by also providing career services and much more!

Technology: Everything is new and up to date. Wifi is everywhere.

Local Area: It is very convenient and there are a lot of options for food around the school. I think that there are places for entertainment as well outside school so it is very near our school. Downtown Riverside is beautiful as well so I like it here. I love how it is not very busy in Riverside because it is a suburban setting. Most of the places I go to are just 10 minutes away by car.

Weather: Sometimes it rains but mostly it is a sunny day which makes me motivated to go to class and go out. It is usually in good weather so it is an area influences me to go out and be happy for class.

Guys & Girls: You'll find all sorts of guys!
Great Christian men, outgoing, friendly, athletic, good looking, well-dressed, wealthy, and intelligent!

Local Area: Riverside is a huge city, so there are tons of things to do within driving distance.

Academics: Nursing is a difficult major, definitely. But the professor make sure it is manageable.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Each year there is some sort of flu that goes through the freshman dorms. Everyone gets sick and it spreads around campus. Its a problem.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I have been lucky enough to be completely happy with all of my ]professors except one. Out of the 15 or so professors I have had, only one has been not up to scratch.

Campus Food: The variety is amazing, but if you go on a off time, like a late lunch, the quality is not so good. It tends to get dry and not so tasty. So if you eat when it's busy then you should get great food.

Campus Food: On campus dining is fine. Most have their issues with it because if you live on campus, you are required to have a meal plan. Eating the same place everyday is sickening. There are a few options but they are all prepared by the same company so it is all the same. They try their best to provide variety and value.

Local Area: We are in the middle of the City of Riverside. There is the mall on one side and the plaza on the other. People quite often go to the movies or eat at Chipotle. Many people drive out to Disneyland often as well.

Campus Housing: I live in a family housing area. It is a designated area for families and the graduate students. We got stuck with the reject apartments in my opinion.

From my observations I would say the two larger apartment complex housing areas have a ton of events that students love. The apartment physically are way better also.

Overall, the cost to live on campus is decent. It is continuing to increase each year though which makes it more difficult to keep up with.
