Majors: My career goals are to act an write professionally, and I believe that this program is effectively teaching me to succeed. However, this is not going to be without hard work and doing as many extracurricular activities and seminars that I can manage.

Majors: I haven't had an internship here, and I don't know for sure if I will. I hope to work as an intern in LA, but I don't have that experience yet, so there's not much I can talk about. I think an internship will help no matter what you're doing.

Majors: I love the theater program at the school. The classroom experience is challenging and thought-provoking. The teachers know what they are doing. An issue is that we don't have very many musical theater productions and classes, but if your interest is in straight plays, this is a fantastic school.

Weather: The weather is hardly ever extreme. It does get hot during the year, but nothing to unbearable. During the winter, it occasionally gets cold and rainy, but not very often. Overall, the weather is not what I would consider beautiful, but it's bearable.

4 College Freshman

Parking: There are typically tons of spots to park and they are all pretty conveniently place by classes. Be wary though, if you park in a lot you aren't supposed to you WILL get fined.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drugs and alcohol are not allowed on campus and are never seen around campus either.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Typically great weather, but hey that's southern California for you!

4 College Freshman

Academics: The quality of my professors has been outstanding thus far.

Guys & Girls: Guys aren't that outgoing it seems. There is a phrase at my school called "ring by spring" so some guys are scared of a casual relationship being taken too seriously. Some girls are out of their mind and trying to get a Mrs. degree here at CBU. I would never pay that much tuition to just find a nice christian guy and become a stay at home mom!

Weather: We have beautiful California weather, most of the time we have sunshine and it hardly rains. Although Riverside in general is really dry and desert like, the school spends a lot of money on keeping the campus beautiful, not to mention they use sprinklers to always keep the grass green. People like to study on the front lawn sometimes while tanning, and it just makes your hard day better with sunshine.

4 College Freshman

Majors: The admission is not unreasonsble and getting accepted isnt too hard. All you need is 2 letters of recommendation, 45 dollars, transcripts, and to fill out the application.

Off-Campus Dining: You get student discounts at subway and bakers because california baptist university owns the lot.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I have never had to attend the Student Health Center but based on what others have told me the facilities are good.

4 College Junior

Technology: The network on campus is always at top speed and there is never any issues with being able to access it with your own personal devices. The computer labs are always open and always have computers available which run at fast speeds and are up to date. Printing and copyign fees are low which makes it convenient for students.

Off-Campus Dining: Directly around the school there are numerous fast food chains but the campus is located in the center of RIverside and is only a very short drive to the Tyler Mall where there are numerous restaurants in both American and Ethnic. Downtown Riverside is also a short drive from campus and offers many options for dining, both fast food, bistro, and restaurants.

Campus Quality: Campus life is awesome. They are always planning events for students to participate in. The campus itself is very involved and you are known by name not by a number. Everything is greeen, if it isnt then it is replaced by green!

Campus Quality: Our school is beautiful. It is always working on making it clean and tidy. The campus is very green and lively.

Local Area: California Baptist Unviersity campus is great, beautiful and welcoming. Riverside, which is where it is located isnt the nicest area in riverside but nicer than some parts.

4 College Junior

Majors: I am currently in the Online Professional Studies Program for Cal Baptist University. I enjoy the program because although I am not on campus or a traditional student, I am still able to attend CBU because the program meets my financial needs since it is half the price from the traditional program. The OPS program is flexible with my schedule and it is mostly online that I take my classes and sometimes there are classes where I come to campus once a week, which is pretty nice and convenient.

Campus Quality: My school's job fairs and events provide a lot of opportunities for students. There are also a lot of events happening that go on throughout the campus such as concerts, awareness events, and programs that students are involved in, in regards to their major. The school provides opportunities for students in obtaining experience in preparing students after graduation such as internships, events for meetings that involve politics, healthcare, business, and so forth.

Off-Campus Housing: In the city of Riverside, there are a lot of apartments and housing areas that are convenient for college students especially for CBU and UCR students. The costs, parking, safety, and location distance from the school are all convenient. Most of the housing areas are near the campus and are very close to stores and bus stops. I would say that it is overall, pretty convenient!

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of great places to eat around the CBU area, especially in the city that the campus is in. There are a lot of restaurants and fast food places near the mall and near other places that are great to shop at. Moreover, there are a endless places to eat. There's places to eat from the nearby shopping malls and inside the shopping malls. Tyler Mall where there's a lot of places to eat is pretty well known and popular. One of my places that I enjoy dining out at is Panera bread. If you have a MyPanera card, you get special offers and discounts which is really great and useful. MyPanera may be a bit expensive, but it is a great place to dine for adults and college students!

5 College Freshman

Academics: Amazing. All the teachers actually care about you learning.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Pretty good. I've only heard of 2 cars getting stolen this whole year.

5 College Junior

Academics: The campus is practically brand new, there have been several building projects in recent years, providing state of the art learning classrooms and facilities. The work load is not too heavy, most students are able to take 18 units every semester (the full-time load being 12 units, and the standard to take being 15 units at other universities).
Faculty is awesome, and there is a lot of attention given to all students.
