Diversity: There are many different races and religions. Though there are. many people are Christians we are all exceptional to every religion. It is not hard to not find a group of people who are excepting of you

Academics: The business school will help me in the future in the type of skills I needed to move up in any job.

4 Recent Alumnus

Technology: There were two locations where computers could be used on campus. The computer lab and the library, which is excellent, because I had to use them for one of my classes.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: I enjoyed the majority of the professors at CBU. The curriculum was somewhat challenging.

Guys & Girls: I went to class at night and noticed my fellow students were dressed professionally, because they came straight from work.

1 College Junior

Party Scene: No smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed on campus. Partying doesn't really occur on campus it usually takes place at neighboring colleges. They do have activities such as field games for those who live near campus.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: A lot of caucasian influence at the school. Style on campus for guys is typically hipsters and skaters (that I've noted anyways). It is a Christian school so girls relatively dress modest nothing too revealing. People are really friendly though once you are on campus you'll notice people usually hold the doors open for you out of courtesy.

Local Area: Plenty of city stuff to do around Riverside. Lots of small shops with cafes for college students. There are various shopping centers spread throughout the city. Another plus is that Riverside college students get to use the bus for free with a swipe of their student ID.

5 College Freshman

Local Area: It's in a big city so there is a lot to do. You're never bored. Within a few minutes away from the mall. The only thing is the traffic on the streets. It isn't hard to hit traffic, especially at stop lights.

4 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is nice Califonia weather. It's not as hot as the desert areas. It's cooler than being in my home town. There's a slight breeze difference. Once in a blue moon the weather is unpredictable when I arrive to school.

Off-Campus Housing: The campus is very nice. It's safe and there are plenty apartments around. The only thing is that it's in a big city so there's traffic and I'm not so sure about the surrounding neighborhoods. The school is fenced in so anything outside to me seems a bit sketchy. There are campus security that roams that lot so it feels safer.

5 College Senior

Parking: There is always enough parking spots for commuters and faculty. There are some days where you might have to park further than you wanted, but you are never driving around the parking lot trying to find a spot. Even during some semesters where there was construction, there was never a parking issue.

Athletics: Our athletic department is awesome. They work very hard to increase school spirit and get the students involved. They also do a great job in keeping the teams motivated.

1 College Senior

Party Scene: There are no parties on campus which I think is important because it doesn't distract the students. There are bars in downtown Riverside that are lose enough to campus in case students want to go out. There are planned activities by the school that happen frequently that are fun, but do not involve alcohol.

5 College Senior

Technology: Excellent Computers. I have never had any complaints

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus its not a huge deal for me because I love my family and it's really hard to let go. In addition I have their support with everything, which is very well appreciated. However, I can live closer because the gas price is high, but other than that I don't have a problem living off campus.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: CBU athletes are awesome! always with a high spirit and always going for a huge win. Even recognized in the newspaper. Who wouldn't be excited and proud. All sports are important to me and exciting, the best from the best is CBU

4 College Sophomore

Technology: The computer labs do get busy, but its reliable, the speed is great. you can always find a spot. Best advice when it comes to finals or midterms and your gonna use the computer its best to go immediately because a lot students use them or you can bring your own iPad or laptop and use the Wi-Fi and can find your self somewhere peaceful.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Great parking lot really big, but it does fill up quickly, however it's nothing negative because it means this school is awesome and a lot of students are in the correct area and school. My best advice is to arrive early to get a good parking.

3 College Senior

Local Area: Riverside is pretty versatile there are lots of fun things to do outside of campus but that requires having a car.

3 College Senior

Drug Safety: The drug scene is readily available for those who seek it. It depends on the people who truly want drugs, otherwise for other students drugs are not even seen often. such as drugs but students usually got to clubs and bars to drink.

3 College Senior

Transportation: The only form of transportation is the public buses.

4 College Senior

Weather: It is Southern California so for most of the year it is pretty warm. Winter only lasts a short time and never gets super cold.

Guys & Girls: This is conservative school. There is a modest dress code for swimming and everyday clothing. Students here are mostly from California and you can tell by the way we dress. The guys dress like Cali guys and the girls dress like cali girls. If a student is from out of state or country, you can usually tell. Students here mostly like staying in shape, playing on-campus sports and live a pretty active life. All housing is separated gender wise also freshman guys and girls have their own separated housing from upperclassmen. They defiantly try to keep guys and girls separated, they have strict visting hours for Freshman housing. It gets better for upperclassmen housing fortunately. But it can make it kind of hard at times for guys and girls to form relationships.

Diversity: When I came to this campus my freshman year there were hardly any African American or Hispanics, mostly white. However, they have international students here from Africa and Europe and other places as well so that does add diversity. This is a Baptist University of course so there aren't a lot of homosexuals or liberals. From what I have experienced there are a lot of conservatives, and republicans. It's definitely not the most diverse campus. However, my sophomore year I noticed that they seemed to be bringing in more diversity which is really good for the school.
