The Class sizes are small which allows you to have a more intimate experience in the classroom. The food options are Amazing, I mean there is a Chick Fil A here! All around the food is great! The living areas are all well maintained and if you need something fixed it does not take to long. There're a ton of resources on campus to help you with your future career, spiritual walk, mental health, physical health, and academic success. CBU you is a small school and a lot of fun if you get involved. There are always events on campus so you can never really say that CBU is boring. The people are always nice and are willing to just sit and talk with you about anything.

The staff and faculty are very caring and always there when a student needs help. Professors actually take the time to pour into students lives while also being professional. I have become friends with many of the past professors I have had and even will be working under one this coming school year. I know many Christian universities probably have a sending program that sends teams of students over seas to share the Gospel, but I feel that this is what makes my university unique. We send between 40 and 50 teams every year to several different countries. some 3 week teams and some 8 week teams. I have been on one 3 week team to India and this summer I joined and 8 week team to China. Both trips grew my love for people, the Gospel, and for God. My heart was challenged and changed on both of my trips. I thank California Baptist University for these opportunities and for the opportunity to even work and lead a team for the program this year. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I wouldn't take it because I know god has placed me at CBU to purse my goals and live out His mission. CBU is like a second home to me and I wouldn't ever change schools if I got the chance to.
