Guys & Girls: The people are amazing here. Most friendly atmosphere you'll encounter. There is a variety of people but over all people are in tune with God and so lovely.

Scholarships: I feel that many things are better done in person because over the web documents get confused. I've been waiting so long for my papers to be processed and hoping to get a loan before school begins

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: Social atmosphere is the best! They have all sorts of events to really create community. Safety is a plus, and public safety is always on lookout doing a awesome job of keeping students safe.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Girl to guy ratio is something like 6 to 1. Very female populated.

3 College Senior

Diversity: Majority of the campus does come from a christian background as it is a religious school. With that comes some very strong beliefs against certain groups of people which can be someone of a hindrance.

4 College Junior

Local Area: Riverside is probably the perfect location because it is a central are? It is about an hour to Disneyland, the beach, the mountains, and Knotts. There are also many food places around and a mall just up the street.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: The buffet is to die for. One of the best I have ever had. Everyone on campus is so friendly and willing to help if you have any questions. Orientation is also one of the funniest parts about going to Cal Baptist.

5 College Junior

Majors: California Baptist made my application process extremely easy. They were there for me every step of the way. There wasn't any abnormal processes for my major which was nice. One tip I would give would be making sure you have your goals set and good amount of time that you want to finish school.

College Junior

Majors: I have never had an internship, but I do plan on looking for one once I have a good understanding in my major. My biggest concern is not being able to find one in my field of study.

Greek Life: There isn't much partying going on, when there is its usually small parties and mostly outside of campus. This i find very convenient due to the fact the there is no disrupting in campus atmosphere including my own learning,

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many fast food places around campus, the only con is that for most places its at least a five minute drive and can't be easliy accessed on foot.

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: One of the things that set this campus apart from others for me was that even though the community was smaller, i felt at home because everyone is welcoming and have a positive attitude which i felt resembled my character.

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Just recently the school opened a recreational center (rec center) where students can go from getting a work out to rock climbing as well as other fun activities. the facility has easy access and is very convenient. Campus events are fun and are also easily accessible, the staff in charge is able to keep things fresh and fun for students.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I commute, I live with my parents so I do not know much about costs. The only Con in commuting would be the driving and having to wake up earlier, other than that I can't complain.

5 College Freshman

Weather: The worst weather has been rain, but that is easily dealt with with an umbrella; it is not a daily thing either so it does not affect my campus experience. The weather is mostly nice and very tolerable with the addition of the fact that classes are not too far from the parking lot makes it even better.

2 College Freshman

Local Area: not much to do but you have friends who have new ideas

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: some workers look like they like helping and some look bothered

4 College Senior

Transportation: The RTA bus is free for all students to get around riverside.

4 College Senior

Diversity: We have a wide range of all races on campus. We have many study abroad students as well as people from out of state or from California.

5 College Sophomore

Parking: You have to have a permit or ticket to park in different areas.. If you dont then you will get fined..

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of restaurants and dining facilities to go off-campus. Just down a mile is the Tyler Mall. The campus is located right in Riverside, CA. So there are plenty of places to eat at near or far.

5 College Junior

Campus Quality: At Calbaptist, you can just look online to the many activities that are going on throughout campus. My first semester there, I was just not aware of all the things I could do. From talking to other students, to exploring more online, I was able to find out all the cool and FREE hang out spots I could get involved in and have access to. There are separate places to where people living on-campus and off-campus has access to, but this school really makes you feel appreciated as a student. For me, being a commuter, my school provides breakfast and props up some coffee, juice, and some breakfast item of the day in front of the parking lot for us students to take advantage of! I have never seen any school offer such wonderful amenities. California Baptist really cares for their students and is always open to any other suggestions to make their school comfortable for you.

Campus Quality: My school has plenty of opportunities for work experience. There are plenty of volunteer work available for students in every subject. All the professors are cooperative to what students want and what students need in order to fulfill their careers after their degree. There are many clubs to join and many activities to get involved in after your classes. On the website, there is a specific tab to go to to find more about campus life and student life. There are many discounts to use if you want to do activities off campus at a very good discounted price. The sky is the limit here! If you have any suggestions, just see faculty and most likely they will do all they can to help you out!

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus but I have friends that live, and the rooms look okay. They are a little old, but there are plenty of activities and hang outs to go to for socializing. This is a religious campus so this is a non-alcoholic premise. There is a pool table on campus and great food, for commuters, there is also a hang out area to where students can mingle and study.

5 College Junior

Parking: There is always parking at my school. As long as you park in the designated areas with a parking sticker, you do not have to worry about a ticket.
