5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: California Baptist University is a drug free campus. Anyone caught under the influence of drugs will be dismissed from attending the University.

Majors: I absolutely love the variety - especially for a Christian school that offers almost all the same majors online.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Although there are quite a few scholarships, they are not for the general student. The are mostly for Army ROTC, sports, engineers, bioscience, etc. Would be nice to have general topic essays, biblical topics and testimonies, or scholarships for artists and musicians that serve in their church.

Diversity: The majority of the students on campus are white leaving little room for any other race.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: This school has great security. it's 24 hour and you can call them anytime. you can get escorded if you feel unsafe and they have emergency towers

2 College Junior

Parking: Parking can get pretty bad here. You need to get here early if you want a parking spot close to the main buildings Especially on chapel days.

4 College Junior

Transportation: This school is a small school and everything is in walking distance. You're allowed to ride bikes as well as other transportation. Public transportation is free for students and is available just about everyday

5 College Freshman

Academics: The teachers have been the best I've ever had for the most part. Classes are easy to get and you don't have to worry about not being able to get a class you need. The worst that can happen is that you don't get the time or teacher that you wanted. They really care about your grades and make sure everyone is learning. If you are struggling with something you have the ability to talk to the teacher or go to the ASC. They are more then willing to help you succeed. As for books they are expensive, but you can always find cheaper books online.

Campus Housing: The housing is actually very nice. The dorms, university place and the colony are all newer or remodeled to look nicer. They are remodeling the royal rose for the freshman, and the village is the worst. The married and grad housing is very spacious but kind of in the back corner of campus. University place is a good area to live in if you are a nursing or engineering major since the buildings are close. The colony is more of a social area, but still quiet and easy to study at. But you its a litter more of a walk to get to classes. CBU is accepting more students now, so the housing is more crowded then it used to be, which is making things harder this semester. But hopefully they will find a way to expand the housing for the next coming years.

Campus Quality: CBU is by far one of the most beautiful campuses I have been to. All their buildings are either new or remodeled. They just build a brand new gym, and it has everything you could possible ask for including a rock climbing wall, racquet ball court, basket ball court, and even a soccer field on the roof ( which doubles as a running track). You have access to computers and printers in the library and yeager. They are also expanding the school right now, adding a new nursing building and changing the book store among other things. The campus is already incredible and they are making it better.

Campus Quality: CBU always has something for the students to participate with. They plan events off of campus also and discount the price extremely. It's a very social campus and there is always something to do or people to hang out with. The only down side is there is a curfew for how long a member of the opposite sex can be at your apartment. Which is understandable, but gets frustrating when a group of friends are hanging out.

Campus Food: Their cafeteria has a huge selection of healthy and comfort foods. They keep a nice selection and change the menu enough so you don't get sick of the food.
They also have briscos which is a fresh togo place. You can build your own sandwiches, or they sever fresh made salads and hot foods. They also offer plenty of sides to go with your choices, including chips, fruit and veggies, and soup of the day.
Also, subway is approved to use on your meal plan, you get a 6 inch sub, chips, apples or cookies, and a drink. The only down side is that meal is priced at around 5 dollars and you pay 10 dollars for each meal you use.

Guys & Girls: I think that both genders take their looks pretty seriously. What people think of them is very important to them in my eyes.

Athletics: Since we are in the NAIA i dont think people take us as seriously but the competitiveness from the athletes is still at a high level.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: They are pretty spacious and bring people closer together.

Guys & Girls: The people are amazing here. Most friendly atmosphere you'll encounter. There is a variety of people but over all people are in tune with God and so lovely.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I feel that many things are better done in person because over the web documents get confused. I've been waiting so long for my papers to be processed and hoping to get a loan before school begins

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: Social atmosphere is the best! They have all sorts of events to really create community. Safety is a plus, and public safety is always on lookout doing a awesome job of keeping students safe.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Girl to guy ratio is something like 6 to 1. Very female populated.

3 College Senior

Diversity: Majority of the campus does come from a christian background as it is a religious school. With that comes some very strong beliefs against certain groups of people which can be someone of a hindrance.

4 College Junior

Local Area: Riverside is probably the perfect location because it is a central are? It is about an hour to Disneyland, the beach, the mountains, and Knotts. There are also many food places around and a mall just up the street.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: The buffet is to die for. One of the best I have ever had. Everyone on campus is so friendly and willing to help if you have any questions. Orientation is also one of the funniest parts about going to Cal Baptist.

5 College Junior

Majors: California Baptist made my application process extremely easy. They were there for me every step of the way. There wasn't any abnormal processes for my major which was nice. One tip I would give would be making sure you have your goals set and good amount of time that you want to finish school.

1 College Freshman

Greek Life: There isn't much partying going on, when there is its usually small parties and mostly outside of campus. This i find very convenient due to the fact the there is no disrupting in campus atmosphere including my own learning,

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many fast food places around campus, the only con is that for most places its at least a five minute drive and can't be easliy accessed on foot.
