4 College Junior

Academics: My major is Liberal Studies, and the workload is not too bad with a part-time job. It is still challenging.

Academics: They offer great services for the deaf here, interpreting, note-takers, tutors. The professors are becoming more and more aware of the few deaf students. I am deaf, and I love this school! A lot of activities happening on campus and for commuters as well. The people and professors are friendly.

Overall Experience: If I could do it all over again, I would go to my school.
My school has only 6,000 students, class sizes are average 20 students, and you are able to really connect with your professors.
There is a friendly vibe all throughout the campus.

Technology: There is one main computer lab on campus and the library as well.
Printing on campus in the computer lab and library cost .5 cents for every two pages. Very affordable!
The student government office (ASCBU) offers ten free printing pages per day.

Diversity: There are a high population of international students on our campus.
The international are accepted with open arms.

Guys & Girls: The guys and girls at my school are very friendly and open people. It is a very friendly environment at CBU.
Everyone tends to dress up at my school more often than other school.
No one wears pajama pants and tops to class.
Social life is always happening, there are always different events put on by the different departments.
A lot of people are in relationships, and tend to get engaged before they graduate.
You feel the pressure to be in a relationship.

Campus Housing: Living on campus allows students to interact and get to know people they may not talk to if they lived off campus. Living on campus is a community within itself. Students in each living area have special social event and parties. Living in a cottage has allowed me to get to know girls and develop friendship in a house setting. Living in a house with eight other girls can be challenging, but promotes the opportunity to adjust to living on ones own.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The professors at my school are personable and care about the welling of every student in his or her class. In the honors program, professors go out of their way to get to know students and create an atmosphere of fun and creative thinking. The honors program even has educationally based parties for honors students to get to know others i the honors program as well as the professors. They go out of their way to assist students in their paths of study and guide them in the right direction.

Drug Safety: Students at CBU create a social enviornment where one does not need alcohol or drugs to have a good time.

Transportation: I do not own my own car, which can be difficult. However, if i desire to stay in the city CBU students have free bus transportation anywhere in Riverside. Consequently, Disneyland and other fun entertainment are not located in Riverside.
