4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I don't have any safe concerns while being on campus

4 College Freshman

Local Area: IT is only about an hour drive from theme parks such as Knott's berry farm and Disneyland. It is also fairly close to malls and restaurants.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are so many people from all over the place that attend this school. It is a private Christian college and so the majority of people are Christians.

Drug Safety: There is no alcohol or drugs permitted on the campus, even for people over 21. This rule is very strictly enforced and no one does drugs or drinks unless they are off campus.

Weather: The weather is much like it is near my house. It does get a bit hotter here during the summer though.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have never lived off campus. I am a freshman living in the dorms.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: People are modest here. We have a strict dress code and so everybody looks very appropriate. The girls and guys both dress more on the conservative side.

Campus Housing: I love the housing. It is very up to date but it is a bit unfortunate how strict the schools is about visiting hours and what you can and cannot have in your room.

Campus Quality: There is always something to do on campus and there is always an event happening. Whether there is a concert, or seminar, or an informal sports game happening there is always plenty to do everyday.

Campus Quality: All of the teachers are very knowledgeable and the food is amazing. We do not have a football team, but our music program makes up for it.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love how small it is and how it feels like a community. I also love how I am able to surround myself with people that shhare the same faith as I do.

Transportation: I have never used the public transportation but I know it exists.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: I wish there was more of a college town feel here. It is pretty boring outside of the gates.

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There really aren't many options for off campus dining unless you want to drive to the mall.

5 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food is amazing. I wish they had something open later, but overall the food is really great. I don't feel like I am eating school food.

4 College Freshman

Parking: The parking permit is free, and that is really great. I do not need a car on campus because everything is so close by.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Our health and safety is adequate.

Majors: My program is Registered nursing and I have not started this program yet but in know that it will be great because so far it had been. If I would have taken the risk to apply to the registered nursing program again I would because it was a great experience to have had that struggle and then succeed. My career goals is to become a registered nurse, but i am still unsure of what field I want to focus on. I have no concerns in finding a job, because there are many health jobs out there. i really just want to help other people not only physically but mentally so I can give them encouragement.

Majors: There are no difficulties for students there to get the classes they need for their required major. I have noticed that everyone there gets there classes on time even when they register a bit late. I was applying for the registered nurse program, and it is a more complicated program to get into but they are helpful to tell you your probabilities. The per-requisites for the nursing program are not hard to get into at all as well. i just registered for my classes for the nursing program and it was so easy because i just got an email telling me what four classes i needed, and then I registered for them fast. The admission process to get into this school overall is great because they are constantly keeping in contact. My tips for admission is to not be afraid to call or email anyone that you need to talk to because everyone there will be happy to help and answer any question.

Weather: The weather does not affect my campus experience at all because I love California's weather.

Scholarships: The financial aid help there is great because there is always someone there to help, and they always answer the phone. When i have called and the operator says that they have a lot of incoming calls, i like that they can call you back because that way you don't have to wait on the phone. Everyone there is nice and helpful, and they email you right away too.

Drug Safety: There is no drug use at school that I know about. Almost everyone there is Christian oriented, and they are well behaved from what i see in school but i am not sure of what students might do outside of school.

Party Scene: I am not sure how it is that the students there spent there night life because after school i do not engage with anyone outside of school only to study but not hang out. I already have my own group of friends that i prefer to hang out because the people there already have their own clicks that they have been talking to since freshman yeah and i was a transfer student tha just transferred last semester. I only have one friend there that i text outside of school, because she is also going to school to become a nurse. I am hoping that once i go to nursing school i can become more acquainted with students there because we will be having the same classes for three years.

Guys & Girls: Everyone at my school is sociable, and nice. I think that most people there are approachable and they are all willing to help. I think the diversity is a bit of a problem because about three fourths of the people there are white. There are a few Hispanics, and Asian, but hardly a lot of African Americans. My first class at 8 am, there is only one African American student and the second class I have there are two. I am Hispanic and would like to see more Hispanics there, but I do not mind that much what race is attending the school because we are all the same no matter what color we are.

Athletics: I have never attended any sport events, because I have a busy life having to go to school, work, and raise a four year old. The time I have available I would rather spent it with my daughter because I hardly enough time. I know that everyone is involved with sports and they are a big part of the campus life. The biggest part of the campus is the spiritual life, so if they would have to choose either sports or the spiritual life it would be the spiritual life.
