Athletics: I like the sports at my school especially the intramural sports because I get the chance to play soccer.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I like this school because it is a smaller school and allows me to get the help I need. A reason I would not choose it is because I am very lonely.

Campus Housing: Plenty of housing--and it all costs the same.

Athletics: Athletics are given a priority.

Overall Experience: Most classes were good. There was a couple professors who were hard to communicate with and were very unapproachable. Class sizes are fine and there is a great variety.

Health & Safety: The campus is really safe and has a low crime rate.

Athletics: From what I've experienced the facilities, coaching, school support and team performance are at the top or near it in every sport.

Overall Experience: Great school, great people but way to expensive to attend without scholarship help.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The value of a degree is extremely important especially now in the current workforce. When applying for professional careers you need experience and a degree to be qualified for the job. If you are curious about any job/internships on campus or off campus. Go to the Career Services and Yeager. There are plenty of churches or missionaries that need the extra help. I believe either every semester or year. Local business and professional individuals come to California Baptist University for Job Fair. Jobs/Internships for the summer or during the school year.

Health & Safety: Public safety is campus is great. Driving around making sure students who are walking at night after their class. The only occurrences on campus are people stealing bikes. Sometimes people try to break into freshman living areas but with all that the campus is safe. But doe not hurt to take precaution.

Campus Housing: When I first attended Cal Baptist in Fall 2013, I lived in the Simmons hall dorms. Twenty-five girls to each hall but two girls in each room. The rooms size the nice and comfortable. After my first year, I moved into a apartment, The Colony. Then for my third year, I lived in The Village. The Village had it downs in the beginning but then had its up. The Village was very close to classrooms buildings unlike Colony, where you had to leave a extra 10 minutes early to get to class.

When it is time to apply for housing, make sure you pay for housing deposit your freshman year, $300 and the housing reservation fee, $100. The three hundred dollars return back to you after the end of your first year. There are two different types of housing double and single. Double cost around $2,500. Single cost around $3,200.

If you plan on living on campus, there is an order, dates and times when you apply for housing. Athletics and Music individuals are first. Then Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores and lastly Freshman. Freshman have about four areas where they can live in: Simmons Hall (females), Smith Hall (male), Tower Hall (female/male separate apartments) and Cottages. Upperclassmen have options of where they want to live but it depends if it is available during their time to register. Housing: The Colony, The Village, University Place, Lancer Arms and The Point.

Athletics: Athletics at Cal Baptist is awesome. Our cheer leading, basketball, wrestling and volleyball teams have won a lot of championships. The games events on campus are free to students. During some athletic events you could will free shirts and posters. For school spirit, we have CBU Crazies, where a couple of students dress up in crazy outfits and jewelry. Our mascot is a Lancer Knight.

Overall Experience: California Baptist University is a great and religious school. I love the Christian community and friendly atmosphere. The professors are really awesome and love to hear your questions when you do not understand something. The events they hold at school really want you to connect with other students in your living area. To make new friends that can last for the long term. The living area are really nice and comfortable. With all the majors they have added you have plenty to choose from if you come undeclared.

5 College Freshman
