5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Safe, may be in the Riverside but the campus is completely seperated from the outisde atmosphere. Campus security have parimeters around the campus walls.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I have heard that financial aid is easy to get.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: Easy and affordable what else is there to say!

5 College Freshman

Technology: The computers run quickly, have tons of necessar applications, printing is very cheap, the labs are open for almost 24 hours every day, computer lab instructors are very helpful, and the wifi is great. Overall, I am very happy with how they run all the computers and labs.

Guys & Girls: Everyone is super nice amd wants to be active!!! Awesome and fun guys and girls!!!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I havent personally lived in any off-campus hosuing but from what I have heard they are nice.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: The campus is beautiful and has lots of things to do on it. The surrounding atmosphere also has plenty of places for students to do stuff but it isnt as nice. CBU has been growing rapidly and with that rapid growth everything around it is growing and becoming better!

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Depends on who you know. If you want to have peace and quiet it is easy to find. If you want to have fun their are plenty of places to have fun around campus and in campus!

Diversity: It's a Baptist school, but I have had atheist classmates and suni classmates, all welcomed without conflict.

Weather: This is a desert. Deserts are hot in the summer (105 is not abnormal here!). It can get cold and windy in the winter (32 degrees, 30 mile an hour winds). The spring and fall are really nice.

Administration: The campus has strict policies. It's not a party school. Academics, personal, and spiritual growth are of the utmost importance.

Local Area: I'm not a fan of cities and I like to keep to myself. I can see how the locality would appeal to others, but I preferred to hang around on campus with the occasional trip out into the city.

4 Recent Alumnus

Drug Safety: I never encountered any alcohol or drug use on campus.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: I enjoyed almost every professor. They are involved and usually make themselves easy to contact. Class sizes are manageable enough that professors can get to be on a first name basis with each student. I found the workload manageable even while working full time and raising a family (others disagreed with me, but they usually would skip homework in favor of Disney Land, so...)

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of fast food options, but also restraunts ranging from sushi to fine Italian if you look around.

Recent Alumnus

Party Scene: I wasn't involved in any sort of nightlife. My classes were at night.

3 Recent Alumnus

Transportation: There is plenty of parking if you have your own car. If not, there are several city bus stops located around the campus perimeter that can get you just about anywhere in town.

4 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: They did most of the work for me. I vaguely remember signing something. Now most of it can be done online without lengthy trips to advising or accounting. Yay.

Recent Alumnus

Athletics: I was not personally involved in clubs, sports, or intramurals. I know that there were quite a few of them on campus. I was working full time and had a family to take care of, so I did not have time or desire to be part of clubs.

Health & Safety: The campus is well lit and technically gated. Entry onto campus requires passage through key gates or by passing the security guard shack. Campus safety response times are excellent.

College Student

Majors: I have not started yet

3 College Student

Majors: I am in a pre-nursing program. I have not started the process to get into the actual nursing program

College Student

Athletics: I know nothing about the sports program

3 College Student

Academics: I am currently going to a different college and will be starting Cal Baptist in the Fall
