3 College Junior

Online Courses: I've never taken an online course

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I've never tried to transfer credits, but I've heard from other students that not all of their credits would transfer. As far as the flexibility of class schedules and outside world schedules, it's pretty much a toss up on what you can do in the morning, and what you can do in the evening.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I don't know much about this, however I did notice that Butler doesn't have a great graduation rate.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I've had some phenomenal teachers, and some that weren't too great. I love that Butler has very different courses like; art appreciation, zumba, rock climbing, any various others. I mostly like that because you can take a fun course to help lighten your mood in the middle of your difficult schedule.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love going to Butler because it is close to home. Some of the teachers allow group projects, and that's easy for me because i live so close to campus. However, I have been trying to get a job on campus and haven't had any luck.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors could definitely use some help learning how to pay specific attention to the students that need more help.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Butler Community College is much like a typical high school. Meaning, it's not all jazzed up like you would think a college would be.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I transferred a few credits to Butler Community College.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Online courses don't make you learn a lot, but are very convenient.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I rated it as "okay" because I haven't tried to transfer any credits yet.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Teachers and staff are very good. They are very, very helpful

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Again, Butler Community College isn't an amazing school, just a simple school for LEARNING

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Butler Community College is just a place to get "gen-ed's" out of the way...not specific majors

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Nothing fancy at all about Butler Community College. Just a good place to go for education. Plain and simple

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: With their online courses it is average and about the same with other online courses from what I heard. I havent done any online classes

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I dont really look into that stuff, I dont do any of that

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I am going to be a lawyer so I am doing a lot of smaller stuff until I can transfer from butler to washburn.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I would go to Butler again because of how accepting they are and how they actually care. They are always there to help no matter how big or small it is.

5 College Student

Online Courses: Online classes work with my busy schedule. I work full-time and this works with my lifestyle perfectly. I can attend classes when traveling as well. The discussion boards give you a feel for your peers personalities and interaction between students and teacher. The workload is reasonable.

5 College Student

Career Services: The school has a long history with local businesses and is close to WSU. Whether going straight into your career or transferring, there are many alumni to help.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: Online classes are interactive. In-house classes have great interaction between teachers and students.

5 College Student

Overall Experience: Whether taking your associates degree and starting a job right away or transferring to universities, a student feels that they are ready for the next step in their career.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: I originally started school with the intention of taking local classes. Unfortunately, I moved but have been able to continue taking the classes I need online. Advisors have been extremely helpful. I can't wait to see what I still need in electives for my degree.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: As an adult returning to school I never imagined that it would be challenging myself yet easy enough to continue with my education. I would recommend this school for its size and teachers. Every one of my teachers has been caring and helpful.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Butler's Pre-Veterinary program is in line with K State and Oklahoma State programs. They have a large range of classes to prepare you for that degree, like I almost want to stay an extra year just to take those classes. Job opportunities in this line of work in El Dorado, ks is very competitive. Only one vet clinic takes interns and those spots fill up quickly.
