Overall Experience: Like any place it has a good and bad side.

The Good: It is affordable, and even if FASFA isn't behind you the payment plan keeps you in school as long as you have a part-time job. I have had some amazing teachers here such as: Lila Ingui, Erica Osmond, John Alexander, Jessica Gicking-Aspen, Jessica Puma and Jane Yantz - just to name a few. It is a plus to work at the school because you get paid to do your homework. Even though underfunded, the art and english programs are nice and work hard.

The Bad: Advisory is worse than the DMV - no one knows what they are doing and they take forever to get simple things done. Just as there are good teachers, there are also very, VERY bad teachers - mostly adjuncts. If you want to meet new people or join a club - forget it. The clubs barely exist and are not welcoming to newcomers. Students go to class then get out fast - so not very social here. A lot of the art programs need major updating in supplies and funding.

This school is best for getting started or coming back to school. I think its best for those coming right out of high school and don't know what they want yet. Due to the affordability you can explore different subjects while still getting transfer credits.

Overall Experience: I recommend community college before a four year college to everyone. You get your academic classes out the way and you save money in the long run. Burlington County College now Rowan College at Burlington County is a great community college filled with a great education system, school activities, as well as groups and organizations. You definitely get the college feel here at RCBC.

Overall Experience: This school is a great community college. Just make sure you take advantage of seeing a transfer adviser if you want to be prepared to transfer smoothly.

Overall Experience: Today has just been a long hard day so not fair to type a review in a bad mood

Overall Experience: I think everyone would say the best about a community college is how cheap it is compared to a four-year school, which is very true, but there is so many other things that are great. Even though it is a community college it gives you the chance to meet tons of new people. The one experience I'll always remember is the hypnosis show, it was awesome! I can't wait to hopefully see it again this year. If I could do it all again, I would most certainly pick this school a second time, because not only is it cheap but the people are great and very helpful.

Overall Experience: I'm more focused because it is community college and I want to experience the college life of being away from school. I played softball for my community school and enjoyed meeting more people and playing other community schools. Community college was great idea financially because I didn't graduate high school with a great GPA and I did not have a lot of options on deciding what school I wanted nor any given scholarships. BCC helped me atleast get a taste of college lifestyle.

Overall Experience: The classes are great and the teachers are informative.

Overall Experience: I had unexpected surgery scheduled right before the course drop date that was going to be happening right around the time of finals. Even though i found out right at the beginning of the course when the date of my surgery was, my professor still advised me to drop. I took his advice and I decided to withdraw and try to put in a waiver to get my refund for extenuating circumstances. I couldn't control when I had the surgery or when I found out, yet they were only money hungry and not at all sympathetic to my condition so my waiver was denied. The classes are okay. I have had good professors and bad. Their policies hardly ever waiver, so if you plan to show up and never get sick or miss a class this is the school for you! Unfortunately, I have a terrible immune system. It is time to transfer.

Overall Experience: If you're looking for a "normal" or "real" college experience, BCC is not the place for you. It is basically a high school part 2. I wanted desperately to attend a 4 year school, but I am in the NJ Stars program and my tuition was paid for in full at BCC, so it was the best option monetary wise. Other than that, BCC is your average community college. The Mt. Laurel campus is the nicest, and I believe they are shutting down all other campuses and moving everything to that one. BCC has also recently become closely affiliated with Rowan University, so students with their associates can get a degree from Rowan for $30,000 after graduating from BCC which is a good deal. The students are a mix between high school burnouts who do not care at all about their classes, high school grads who are committed to their classes but just couldn't afford a 4 year school, and adults who never went to college in the first place who are back to get a degree. Overall, if you're looking to save money, BCC is the place for you. Otherwise, it would not be my first choice.

Overall Experience: It's a great school if you want to save money before going off to a four-year university. Student life and activities aren't all that popular here. It's like an additional two years of high school, honestly.
