2 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Congrats! High school parties for 4 more years.

1 person found this useful Report
3 College Junior

Party Scene: Most parties take place down by the townhouses even when it's freezing cold outside

4 College Sophomore

Party Scene: It is not the typical school nightlife, but it is still a blast. It what you would expect of a small campus. Not everyone goes out, but there is always somewhere to go and something to do on the weekends. Its a blast, but it is not like a large state school.

5 College Junior

Party Scene: There are great nightlife but located in providence at least 10 miles from campus.

4 College Junior

Party Scene: I'm underage, but I heard it is good

Student Author OverviewWhat's this?

View student contributors
Bryant students love to party and often start their weekend early by heading to bars and clubs in the area. Parente's (which students refer to as "'Rente's") is located just off campus and is most popular on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Another area bar/club, Effin's, offering more of a club and bar scene, is most popular on Thursday nights. On weekends, many students head to Providence for its variety of different bars and clubs. However, this can get expensive with cover charges and drink prices. Students also have to worry about getting a ride back to campus, because the RIPTA (the local bus that runs between campus and Providence) only operates until around midnight. On weekends, there is always some type of party on campus. However, campus parties can be a little hit or miss because DPS breaks them up pretty fast so students often move from one party to another. Townhouses have the most parties because they are less likely to get broken up by an RA, but the suites keep up pretty well most weekends. It's difficult to have parties in the freshman halls, so most freshmen stick to roaming around or calling up their upperclassman friends to find something fun to do.
