2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Not really available unless you go into providence which can be pricey.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are some good chain restaurants and some restaurants only in the area, super expensive at most places especially in the city.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: It is average, nothing big. They rave about how well they throw parties.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The athletics are a big deal here because we are division 1. The athletes do get special treatment here.

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: If this is your dream school, and you live close enough to commute, do it. The dorms are pretty bad, the internet is spotty so it is hard to get connection in your room. If you want sleep, you shouldn't bet on it because there is no rule enforcement what so ever here. Yes, we have an RA on each floor, but they mind their own business and don't say anything to the students here. There is constant parties on the floors in the halls and at the townhouses located right behind the freshmen halls. If you like to party this is perfect for you, if not you will hate this. There is no cleaning staff friday-sunday so you do not have clean bathrooms, and you are lucky if they come monday to clean them. The bathrooms get disgusting over the weekends because of the amount of partying that takes place. There is always beer cans, bottles and condoms all over in the hall, outside the halls, on the way to class everywhere. It is not an ideal place to live what so ever. As far as space goes, the rooms are the average college dorm. The lottery system the school uses is proven to match you pretty well. But I know a lot of people that don't get along with their roommates at all. Personally, the switching process is not as easy as they say either. You overall are paying a lot of money and won't enjoy the experience much.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Most parties take place down by the townhouses even when it's freezing cold outside

2 College Senior

Greek Life: If you are coming to a school looking for a great Greek scene, this is not the place for you. Most people seem to fall into greeklife, and non-greeks find them very annoying most of the time.

3 College Senior

Local Area: There is very little interaction with the locals at Bryant, the closed campus keeps the university seperate.

5 College Senior

Athletics: TITLE TOWN!!!! Brynat competes, I mean DOMINATES, the NEC in athletics, being a very young D1 school, the programs are growing very quickly, and Bryant Athletics have a very bright future. Most popular sports are basketball, baseball, and lacrosse.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Scholarships are based mostly on SAT scores, and do not change based on your preformance at Bryant very much

5 College Senior

Health & Safety: Bryant has a closed campus, which means only students and their guests are allowed on campus. This limits the amount of safety risks, and creates a great college environment for the students!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Halls are good nothing special comunal dorm bathrooms are often dirty.

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: Providence is 10 mins away and the local area has stuff to do in it too. No complaints on the surrounding area.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It was typical and really easy to work with. The admissions office was really helpful and kind.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: Smithfield is not that great, but Providence is a blast.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Doesn't consume the campus, but if it's your thing it is easy to get involved with. They don't have a lot of exclusive Greek parties, which makes the campus great for everyone.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Not too hard not too easy. Pretty typical all around. It challenging if you want it to be, but you don't have to let school work consume your life.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I love my major and my minor. Yet, I can still explore other subjects.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: The facilities are warm and friendly. They are also clean and easy to get to.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: They come off to be a lot more strict than they actually are. As long as you are smart about what you do you will not have an issue with the administration.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: By far the most diverse school I have ever been at. They work hard to expose us to other cultures. There are a good amount of international kids that you become close to as well.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The guys are all pretty typical college guys. They all pretty much fall into the stereotype of the group they are involved with. However, they all make great friends and are fun to hangout with, no matter who they are.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Games are great to go to and even if you are not in a sport it is easy to get involved in athletics. Bryant is a fairly active campus.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: DPS is friendly and only wants to provide a happy and safe campus for us. They are not out to bust you. Health services is also great to work with. They have friendly and helpful nurses that know what they are talking about. And health visits are free and easily accessible.

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

Bryant provides a well-rounded education, a tight-knit community, and endless opportunities to succeed academically, socially, and after graduation. The University's academic programs help to prepare students for the real world by requiring all business students to minor in a liberal art, and vice-versa. International experiences and education are also highly emphasized, with opportunities such as Sophomore International Experience and other study abroad programs. Bryant's faculty holds the highest degrees in their fields and brings a wealth of research and real-world experience to the classroom. Although it takes a lot of hard work and effort to do well here academically, it is well worth it to graduate with an education you can feel proud of and stands out to future employers. There are more than 70 clubs and organizations and plenty of programs and activities to keep students involved and meeting new people throughout their four years at Bryant. The campus feels like a tight-knit community to students, where everyone knows everyone and school immediately becomes a home away from home. While students can be cliquey at times, nearly everyone is friendly and supportive, and are always open to new friends and experiences. Shopping areas and several large cities are not far from campus, so students can easily escape campus whenever they like. Bryant's campus is gorgeous, with striking architecture and beautiful landscaping, and students have access to state-of-the-art facilities. So, although they might complain at times, most students agree that given the choice to do it all over again, they'd still choose Bryant.
