Academic Flexibility: Everything went smooth I had no trouble getting anything transferred over and started. The scedule and information I was provided with before attending has been exact.

Career Services: I have not graduated but they are already assisting us with prospects, networking (how to), creating a good resume and how to interview geared specifically to the degree.

Overall Experience: I have had a great experience here. From the very beginning with administration I have felt as though I was the only one being attended to and that I was cared about along with my progress. Here if you miss a day they will call and be sure everything is okay and jelp you in any way as they do not want anyone to get behind. The professors are very involved in our learning always finding new ways to make it more realistic and apply it to our profession. Setting up real life situations and teaching us how to handle all of the different areas that will be worked with, within our career. The class size is 27 people just the right amount not to big, yet not to small either.

Overall Experience: Networking is something stressed, we get opportunities to communicate and put ourselves out there for prospects. When we attend our fieldwork this is a very important part as many have received jobs strictly on there behavior and actions during their time at a particular facility. The quality of the career center is great, they are very involved in assisting in jobs for each of the students and training students on resumes, interviews and many other things to get our feet planted after graduation.

Academic Experience: This college is one course a month, this is very helpful in the way that you can focus on the one subject and really understand it instead of juggling 5 different subjects. The workload is fast pace but set up in a very organized manner. The curriculum is very OT specific, we get hands on, guest speakers, and personal experiences from individuals who have been under the care of an OTA. Everything we do is geared toward the profession and how to handle each type of situation as a Occupational Therapy Assistant. It is required of us to have 12 hours of observation time at a facility before going into our fieldwork 1 and then to have 12 hours of volunteer time at a facility before moving into the 4 months of fieldwork 2, where we put our knowledge and learning into real live situations.

Overall Experience: I have really enjoyed attending Brown Mackie College, I had gotten to the point that I thought completing a degree would be impossible for me. I have 3 children and have had to turn my life upside down to do it but the fact that it is one course a month and a steady schedule has made it possible for me. Everyone has been so helpful there, setting me up with everything and getting me going. I would take this same path if the choice was mine to make again, it fit my life. The only issue with college for a person in my shoes is there is not much room for working during school, leaving me in a tight spot and often to the point I want to give up. I must not though, this college has provided me with the opportunity and I will do everything I can to go forth. I appreciate scholarship opportunities out there and can only hope that one comes to me. After financial aid was completed for me this year I was left with a bill of $800 for Brown Mackie College, I am now at the point that I absolutely cannot pay it and still attend. Scholarships will be a blessing for whoever shall receive it, as times can get tough when you have a family and trying to complete a degree. Good Luck to ALL!

Academic Experience: I major in nursing. The program and the schedule for the classes is very cooperative with people that work and have children. The college provides internship within the program and job opportunities after graduation.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: This college has a few problems not a whole lot especially in nursing.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The campus look amazing. The admissions and financial aid representatives is very helpful. The students seems friendly.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: It is not very challenging. With that, the school is on probation through the AVMA about accreditation, so it also scaring everyone on campus. If the campus is on probation, then it makes it seem like this school is not living up to the standards of other schools possibly.

4 College Senior
