3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are some degree's that may hold more value than others. Coming from Broward College, STEM feilds in general are very good to be apart of. They are commited to introducing the students into their desired feild and do a lot of foot-work to ensure that. They form and build close relationships with local companies in order to provide quality internships and other transitional positions.

Online Courses: The problem with the online courses isn't limited to just Broward College. The general system across the board is using outdated, badly put together software that just cannot hold up with the quality of education that is promised. Online education from other sources online have grown and advance exponentially in recent history and should be observed to be mirrored.

Student Body: There are all sorts of students that go to Broward College. I'd go so far as to say it may be one of the most diverse population in broward county in general. From old to young and of all colors, gender orientations, and cultures, there is no shortage of the strange at Broward College.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education provided by Broward College and to how much it costs doesn't compare to any other college I', familiar with. They school is affordable for the most part and can help those seeking education recieve just that. Higher education options would be best taken elsewhere or perhaps upon oneself. They provide the service of preparing students for higher education in a competetive enviroment that can push students in unlimited directions.

Career Services: The college has some industries in which they can be very helpful in introducing the students to. In particular the engineering program and nursing programs here at Broward College has led to many directly into the feild and has had many who were already in the field come as students to further improve themselves.

Academic Experience: The proffessors are the key players in the program, stocked with experienced art proffessors with unique skills, they can be quite helpful. On the other hand the art/computer graphics department in general is scarce and can be better equiped. Also the class availablity should be easier to coordinate so that to not have to travel to multiple campuses in a single day.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors here can be very humanistic, willing to put in extra time for the good of the individual student without hesitation. I have been pleasently surprised with mutliple professors and the work they've personally put in for the good of the students not only overall but to the individual.

Campus Resources: The Academic Success Center on specific campuses do well to help the individual student. The ASC on the north campus of Broward college in particular has been recently remodeled in a way that has proven to be affective in reaching students in need of academic resources.

Career Services: BC and Florida Atlantic University work together for students who want to get a higher degree and major their career. I think it is a big help for these students because BC guarantees them to get admitted into this university easily. The career center is also a huge help for students to get all of their paper work done with the assistance of staff and faculty, not only that but they also offer tests that help students what career could fit them based on their skills and knowledge.

Academic Experience: I have recently started my requirements for the architecture program here at BC. My first two semesters I started with the general courses at Central campus following my educational plan given by the counselor, not knowing that BC had an actual plan for students who are following this major. Once I started my first class for this program, I found a counselor that only focusses on this field and showed me that there was a special plan. Thankfully, I did take the right general courses for my A.A but did wasted a bit of time now knowing that I had to do four semesters of design in order to finish my requirements. Other than this, the program offers a good educational plan to finish the requirements at a fast pace, a good location, good commodities and equipment, counselors that only focus on this field, study abroad opportunities, and with time in this program and practice can get the student to get involve into internships and jobs related to the major to get experience.

Academic Experience: My last two semesters have been successful due to the professors that BC has. Their work has been a bit challenging but following their directions and with their motivation, it kept me to stay on top of my work. Class registration was not hard to do, students just need to be alert for when registration starts so they better chances of getting a good schedule. What I've also liked is that when a student registers for a class, it tells you if it is a blended course, a fast track course or an online course. BC also have various programs for students such as the nursing program in which it is one of the best and most successful in Florida, the aviation program, and architecture program.

Campus Resources: The environment overall is enjoyable, we have staff and faculty that are very helpful and friendly when it comes for the new incoming freshmen as I have experienced. The athletic center is great, specially the gym because any student has the chance to go and work out just by showing their BC I.D, they provide students that have an interest in living healthy and active as trainers which is very helpful for the people who don't know what to do or how to start working out, specially girls. The library is probably where most people like to go, it could be either to study or just hang out and grab a snack by the Dunkin Donuts. The library provides study rooms, course text books, tutors, computers and laptops, and even calculators all available for students to do assignments and study. Just seeing students do their assignments on their own motivates any person to get into the study mode.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its worth it. It covers my books, classes and anything else i need to succeed.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I know that i am learning when i can recall something that i learned months back. Awesome teachers and awesome staffs.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The work that the professors give can be hard and easy. You just have to pay attention and stay focused

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The best school on the planet. The best part about it is that the student center is the best part of the school.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My classed were pretty flexible with whatever I was doing. Even though I had to figure alot of things out by myself, transferring was super easy.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would not g=choose to go to BC again. I just feel like it doesn't motivate you to better yourself in anyway.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: The courses I took were straightforward. The professors were not so good. Majority of them, I felt, didn't even want to teach. You really have to search for a good professor in order to challenge yourself. The courses offered were okay. Not too many because it was a community college but it was enough for you to finish all your studies and transfer with ease.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really did not enjoy myself at BC. When I graduated, that is when I finally was satisfied because now I know I will be moving on to a better school that I know I will work my hardest at to go further in my career.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I never took an online course while at BC so I honestly have no opinion on them.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process was annoying. BC kept constantly messing up my financial aid and kept overcharging me for things which, at times, made things very difficult for me. They were never clear whenever I had asked them for help and I felt like a nuisance whenever I did ask anyone to explain things for me. The value of my education, I feel, was not worth the tuition I paid because most of the time I felt that the professors didn't even want to help the students. There were only two professors my entire time at BC that I actually felt that they wanted us to succeed in every way possible.

2 College Junior

Career Services: Broward College didn't have a helpful career center. The people that worked there usually didn't show interest in helping their students succeed so I didn't enjoy being there and asking people to help.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Well, since Im still in the process of transferring, I really don't have a solid answer but from my previous school it was alright. It wasn't the best because it was a community college. The workload was okay, not so much challenging. Facilities weren't the best but were available.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: At the school i graduated from, academics were decent. The professors weren't the best, the class registration process was easy and the workload was easy so that's something that I wish was different.
