4 College Student

Overall Experience: As far as community colleges go, there are worse, and there are better. Just beware the theatre director, Rylan Brenner. He's a tool.

Tuition & Financial Aid: For regular students, it's pretty good, or so I've heard, but if you have any special circumstances, it's a nightmare. But those students are rare, so the typical person should be ok.

Campus Resources: The resources aren't anything to celebrate, but they serve their purpose well. They do what they're supposed to, and effectively. They're just not very pretty or especially helpful. The basics are there, but that's really it.

Academic Flexibility: Flexibility is a joke, every class overlaps with itself and no two required classes are on the same day, or if they are, they overlap. Registering for courses is hell. Transferring credits depends on the receiving college.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: It's passable. Nothing too exciting either way, apart from a few programs here and there. Pretty bland, mostly, which can be good if you like that. It's what you make of it, really.

Overall Experience: The worst professor of my life, I met here... Rylan Brenner. Others have been hit and miss, but mostly miss.

4 College Student

Student Body: Complete acceptance of everyone that I've personally encountered, but I will warn people: it's pothead central. If you're sensitive to that, steer clear. Otherwise, it's a nice group of tolerant people, mostly local. Lots of variation from person to person though.

Academic Experience: Hah. "Discuss your workload." What workload? Half the professors don't bother showing up to class on time. Curriculum? Sometimes the professor will talk, sometimes he'll just try and keep the discussion relatively on topic. Their theatre program should be avoided at all costs, but others I suppose might be okay. Just avoid Rylan Brenner at all costs... Worst professor/teacher/human I've had to deal with in a very long time, and he IS the theatre program right now. He has multiple complaints lodged against him, so he's retiring soon... But not soon enough for the poor folk who have already endured.

Academic Experience: Their dual enrollment program is amazing and I highly recommend it to absolutely any high school student in the area who finds themself bored in traditional high school classes. Professors are hit and miss but usually laid back.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process is fairly easy. BCC have free workshops that help with the financial aid process. BCC is great star to your college career by providing, great, quality , and affordable education at half the the cost of going to a four year institution. I highly recommend attending the financial aid workshops.

Academic Experience: The classes were pretty good. I really enjoyed mathematical reasoning for elementary teachers. This class is broken into to parts math 127 and Math 128. Anne Silva is the professor She has whats called Pencast. What it is it is a pen that records everything that she says in class. so while she is writings notes it projects on the screen. After class she would upload it online. This was helpful because if we missed something in class or if were having trouble with an assignment we could go back and look at the examples that she showed in class. I highly recommend her. The workload of the Elementary program wasn't to hectic. BCC offered unique classes such as coping with life and death. I particularly enjoyed African American history with Ms Worthington. This class satisfied the multicultural perspective requirement. However I must admit it is a bit intimidating to be pursing a career in the Education field. I'm trying break into a profession that is dominated by white females. There would be times when I would one of few people of color in the classroom particularly in classes such as math 128 classes that were gear more toward my major. However I will not let this stop me from accomplish my goals . This made me realize that i need to work just as hard if not harder than the next person. I realize that it is going to be an uphill battle to land a teaching position not just because of the availability of jobs but because I'm African American . I will continue to work hard because I know i can do anything I put my mind to.

Academic Experience: The professors were very nice and overall most went above and beyond to make sure your need were being taken care of. Some professors communicated well the students. Ms Worthington who teaches African American history made sure she would answer your questions or concerns in a timely manner. She respond to emails and phones in a heartbeat. Overall the professors at BCC really want to see you succeed and they do what ever they can to help you accomplish your goals

Campus Resources: The faculty and staff is very nice. They are very helpful and helped me every step of the way. The professors I've had changed me in more ways than I ever imagined. When I first applied to BCC I thought i cut myself short. Then I realized I was receiving the same quality education I would be receiving at a four year institution at half the cost. Overall my experience was great and the faculty and staff helped every step of the way. BCC provides good, quality, and affordable education. I truly believe attending BCC was the best decision I've made thus far.

Academic Flexibility: It was just about average.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They have a great Deaf Studies program that people can partake in.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The professors that I have had this semester were very great at what they did. I learned a lot from them while I was in their classes. They took the time to get to know the students in the classroom and properly explain the work.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am aiming to go for my associates degree in human services. My school has an excellent option of attaining many different agrees. It's transfer program is top notch when you plan on furthering your career.

1 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I do not take any online classes.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The student body is comprised of many different people from all over the world. The school that I attends is very racially diverse.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have applied for financial aid last year and this year once again. The process was easy enough but I felt as though I was getting ripped off. I am only getting enough money to cover books for one class. I am taking more than one class, I am going to need more money for books.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I'm not exactly familiar with the post-grad program offered at my school.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: This is my first year at college and the program that I have chose to enter into is Human Services. The particular program that I am apart of is quite a popular at my college. The courses are challenging enough, they really test my abilities. The text books are very expensive. That really puts a damper on my experience. My family is not a wealthy one and I need all the help that I can get.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There are many different academic programs to choose from. The wide variety to choose from is quite extraordinary.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are many different buildings that provide different resources that all apply to different people. Though the community college that I attend does to appeal to everyone's particular needs. There are not nearly enough art programs to choose from.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My school accepted several transfer classes and it was an easy process.
