Overall Experience: Having a degree at Brigham Young University will not only give you the academic prowess that you need to get a good job in the future, but it will as well make you into a better person. Enter to learn, go forth to serve.

Campus Housing: I haven't lived on campus, but my sister did and they were really nice

2 College Senior

Greek Life: I don't know about Greek life

Athletics: I love going to the games!!!

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I wish that BYU would give more people an opportunity to get into their individual colleges because there are only a certain amount of people that get in every year and many people get passed up.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have loved almost all of the professors I have had in my classes and have learned to adapt to their teaching styles to help me be successful.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Employers recognize the high standards that graduates from my school have had to obtain and view that as a good sign of a potentially successful employee.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Many phones located throughout campus to contact police.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Heritage Halls is the best on campus housing option for value and apartment quality.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Huge fan base, great attendance at ,most sporting events.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My school provides a unique environment where students can be spiritually uplifted, as well as academically challenged.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The courses are generally high quality and the professors do a great job, though some classes I'd like to get into could use more availability, like CSANM 150.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: BYU Alumni generally seem to have great credentials, and the fields I'm interested in would probably be very interested in hiring graduates from this school.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: During the day I feel pretty secure, but at night I get a bit paranoid.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The Heritage Halls dorms are nice but old, but they tore down the building I was in by now. The new buildings seem very nice.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I really don't care much about athletics, but as far as I'm aware they seem to be high quality here.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's nice to have the spiritual focus, but being so nitpicky on things like beards and being against things like R-Rated movies is not my kind of style.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Great Classes, great professors, great students, great campus

5 College Student

Overall Experience: As a very large school, BYU offers a variety of many difference courses. You could choose to study any number of different classes, although the most sought-after ones get filled up very quickly. The professors are amazing and care about their students, and all the classes are Christ-centered and filled with the spirit. I feel I have never learned more from any other place I have been.

Overall Experience: BYU offers so many jobs and opportunities to its students. It is only the sheer amount of students that takes away from the opportunities available. My only concern is my own career choice, which is not very hirable.

5 College Student

Health & Safety: BYU holds its students to a high standard. We live by the honor code system, and if we break the rules, it generally follows with expulsion from school. I have never felt safer than when I have been on the BYU campus, and I believe that that comes from the cooperation and desire for good from the students and the campus itself.

Campus Housing: Campus housing is the best. It is clean, well-managed, safe, and rule-abiding. It brings you into the true, blue, clean atmosphere of BYU, where students abide by the honor code and have mutual respect and consideration for each other and everyone else.

4 College Student

Athletics: I was never that much into sports, but we have a great stadium and sports program, and with all the enthusiasm and school pride and support for our athletes involved, you can't help but find yourself drawn into celebrating and enjoying the sports right along with everyone else.

Overall Experience: I absolutely LOVE Brigham Young University. It is the most amazing place in the whole world. The first time you walk on campus, you are just filled with such a spirit of peace and the feeling like this is where you belong. Everyone is so nice and hardworking and dedicated, and you can't help but feel the desire to give nothing but your very best along with them. Once you're there, you never want to leave. With the honor code, dedication and high standards of students and professors alike, it's no wonder why BYU is the very best and my favorite place to be.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My school is very unique because it is the biggest high school in Utah. This being the case, it can be good but other times it is hard to get certain classes. It is also hard to get individual help from my teachers. I love how we have grizzly opts and how it gives me a chance to get my grade up throughout the day without going in after school.

A BYU experience is unlike anything else. The things that you will learn go far beyond what is taught in the classrooms, and the people that you will meet are exceptional. Researching the school, and being familiar with the rules and expectations of students, will make the transition smoother and help you get the most out of your BYU experience.

Talking with people who have attended, reading books such as this one, and looking at the BYU Web site (www.byu.edu) are all great ways to make sure that this is really the school for you. If you decide that BYU is what you want, then jump in and enjoy it! You are in for a great and character-building experience.
