5 College Student

Local Area: There is a great environment of entertainment outside of BYU.

4 College Student

Health & Safety: BYU provides security guards and emergency stations in case of emergencies.

3 College Student

Off-Campus Housing: The majority of the students live on campus the first year and move out the rest of their college years.

5 College Student

Guys & Girls: Many boys and girls are respectful and accepting of our honor code.

4 College Junior

Athletics: I love going to the sporting events here at BYU, especially because the teams are ranked nation wide.

5 College Sophomore

Administration: I am glad for the strictness on campus. I don't think our campus would have its clean and modest atmosphere without it. It promotes good moral behavior.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: The cost is average and the locations are convenient. Student discounts are available sometimes too. I especially love all the Japanese restaurants.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Everyone is so nice and friendly. Everyone is very cleanly and modestly dressed. Its a very open environment, and the dating scene is fun.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I absolutely love my school. I was worried about making friends when I first started, but everyone is so kind and I was easily able to make friends. I love how focused my school is on good behavior and morals, and I love that its a Christ centered environment. I grew so much as a person my first year, and I can't wait to continue to do so.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There are so many options for off-campus housing, and most are close by which is really convenient. Costs vary, but its generally pretty reasonable.

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: I love the town around school. I don't get to see it much because I don't have a car, but I really love the shopping selection and the parks are beautiful.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I'm not involved in sports, but there's no doubt that my school has a lot of school spirit, especially when it comes to football. People from all over will come to our football games, and everyone shows great support. Its fun, and everyone loves it.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: There's something fun for everyone on campus. Students have many chances to get to know others and have fun. There are so many cultural events so everyone is represented and has the chance to get to know other cultures.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: BYU has a big focus on the importance of good morals. There is absolutely no drug or alcohol use and the dress code keeps everyone modest. I love how clean it is in that respect, and how we are able to have fun and grow in an environment that teaches us to have good morals.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: BYU has top notch academics that can't be rivaled.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: There are so many great opportunities.

3 College Senior

Diversity: Almost everyone is LDS, so most students are straight, white, Mormon Republicans from a upper middle class family. But we do have students from all over the world and organizations for them.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Because of the large Returned Missionary population we have a ton of different types of ethnic cuisine.

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: BYU puts a lot of time and money into maintaining the facilities and it definitely shows, we have the cleanest campus I've ever seen.

5 College Senior

Campus Quality: Like I said, there is something here for everyone. The student body is fantastic. The professors genuinely care about you. It's a wonderful place to be.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I honestly couldn't imagine going to school anywhere else, I made some life long friends here and been through quite a few things that have definitely changed me for the better. But I know people who feel the exact opposite, but like most things in life, the experience is what you make of it. If you have the right attitude and are willing to abide by the honor code than it is a wonderful place to be.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Cougar Pride is alive and well. We bleed blue and white!!

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus is way cheaper than living on campus, and they have options for every price range.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: There are tons of options but they're all pretty expensive.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: It's pretty much impossible to get BYU scholarships unless you're a straight A student, and it takes forever to hear a federal aid decision. Students work at the financial aid office and sometimes they have no idea what they're talking about, which is pretty frustrating.
