Off-Campus Dining: I haven't had the opportunity to really experience much of the off-campus dining. But from what I have experienced, there are a lot of options, though not entirely cost-effective. I'm excited to be able to try more things soon.

Athletics: Though there is a lot going on on campus, just about everyone seems to find time for some sort of sport, whether is be a varsity team or a lower division intramural team. Athletics are super important to a lot of people on campus, and the school spirit is awesome. The athletics atmosphere is what really gives us an edge.

Off-Campus Housing: I've only lived in one location off campus, so my view is a little different than those who have had the opportunity to live in multiple locations. I love my apartment complex though and the landlord is awesome. It's pretty close to a bunch of things, but the walk to campus can be a little long and will probably continue to increase in difficulty as the weather worsens.

Local Area: I love the feel of Provo and the surrounding cities. People are usually very friendly and there is quite a bit to do around town. The proximity to the mountains is awesome for outdoor activity. There could be more/better restaurant and shopping options, but the lack thereof is probably better for my wallet.

Administration: Many of the restrictions set forth by BYU are there to protect students from danger both spiritually and physically. However, some of the rules, such as the ban against beards, has no logical purpose. I think that the honor code restrictions, though overall helpful and positive, could use some revision based on cultural changes over the past several years.

Health & Safety: BYU is number 1 Stone Cold Sober school and it's very safe. Violence, drugs, and other things are unacceptable.

Off-Campus Housing: There's plenty of housing available, you just have to sign up for it. BYU has a standard that off campus housing must meet in order to qualify for housing BYU students.

5 College Sophomore

Administration: BYU works hard in every way to give all students the best college experience for everyone in a clean, safe environment.

5 College Sophomore

Local Area: There is always something happening in Provo and the nearby cities. There are amazing restaurants, great nature adventures, and if you honestly can't find something to do, you should get out of bed and do something.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I received a half tuition scholarship my first year. All I did was click a button that said, apply for scholarship and within a few weeks before the start of school they gave me the ok.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: BYU offers a wide variety of social activities for both on and off campus students. On campus housing is located near campus diners and grocery stores for students' needs.
