Overall Experience: I have loved all of my professors. Some of them I haven't gotten to know as well and I would label as efficient. But even in classes where there were tons of students I still felt like I could connect with them.

Overall Experience: Degrees are respected coming out of school. Employers know that it isn't just a cake walk to the diploma. There are tons of career fairs and opportunities to network and find jobs.

Health & Safety: Really I have never felt unsafe on or near campus.

Campus Housing: I loved my on campus freshman experience. Sure there will be some drama and people getting used to living away from home, but for the most part I thought it was great. And I even lived in the older models that they have since torn down the new ones are very nice.

Overall Experience: I have loved getting involved in classes and clubs. Developing relationships with my professors through research and TA positions has made me feel a part of the academic community. I would choose it again because it has made me a better person.

Athletics: Our fan support is really good. There are a lot of people who go out to watch in every sort of sport. I enjoy going to the basketball games. Really our team does well. We are on the upper middle of college athletics and in some sports like volleyball they have been in the championships a few times in the past few years.

Greek Life: I don't think we even have a greek life.

Athletics: Sports are fun and good, but do not overwhelm other aspects of campus life. You can love em or be indifferent and still be happy.

Overall Experience: The professors all seem very passionate about the subjects in which they teach. They always offer additional help if one wants to meet with them during their office hours or with one of their TA's. The class sizes range quite a bit. I have several classes with only up to twenty people, whereas, other classes had over one hundred students. The teaching style varies somewhat as far as assignments and activities.

Campus Housing: I enjoyed living on BYU campus. I lived in New Heritage and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very spacious, clean, very nice amenities, and offered an okay social life. We had hall meetings once a week and always broke our fasts together as a ward with a ward dinner. It was a nice cost in comparison to other places. It was all new and comfortable and met all of our necessities. The only thing I didn't like was that the windows didn't open.

Athletics: BYU students show huge support for their fellow athletes. I have seen people camping outside of the Marriott Center to get into one of the basketball finals. We proudly support our school by wearing our school colors, wearing the official school Tee's, and attending school games and functions.

Overall Experience: Brigham Young University is diverse with all of the majors and activities it offers to its students. The professors are highly qualified and are more than willing to meet with students in their offices to help with any questions they may have. They are understanding of the students' need for a balance between schooling and social life and offer the best of the best to accommodate their students' needs. BYU is unique for its honor code and the trust they show towards their students. I love that we know we are in good hands and that we protected from worldly things. For instance, I have a friend going to a university in California and she had told me that her roommates sold marijuana out of their rooms. BYU offers the best to keep their students away from such circumstances and I love that. If I had to do it all over again, I would apply to BYU and strive to get in because of how helpful and loving they are to us as students. They are there to help us achieve our goals and to become better people, and I know we wouldn't have half the success rate if we didn't have professors, counselors, and alumni who cared so much for us and our hopes and dreams and their willingness to help us accomplish such dreams.

Overall Experience: I LOVE it here at BYU. The environment is something you will not be able to find in any other school. Nearly everyone is hard-working, honest, and kind. There's a great social environment (without worry of substance abuse) and lots of help available in all your classes. I've loved most of my classes so far.

Overall Experience: Well, California hates Mormons so it's hard to apply there after... my sister is having that problem. Trust me, her resume and grades and test scores should have gotten her in.

Health & Safety: It's generally safe but that's almost the scary part like how safe is it really

A BYU experience is unlike anything else. The things that you will learn go far beyond what is taught in the classrooms, and the people that you will meet are exceptional. Researching the school, and being familiar with the rules and expectations of students, will make the transition smoother and help you get the most out of your BYU experience.

Talking with people who have attended, reading books such as this one, and looking at the BYU Web site (www.byu.edu) are all great ways to make sure that this is really the school for you. If you decide that BYU is what you want, then jump in and enjoy it! You are in for a great and character-building experience.
