Guys & Girls: Mormons are attractive. I don't know why but they are. And smart. Everyone is hot and smart here and it's crazy! They can come off as a little judgmental, but most of them aren't, they just seem like it because they're stereotyped that way.

Transportation: The bus runs and has pick up stops on campus, but very few students utilize it.

Off-Campus Housing: No one except freshmen live in the dorms, so there is a TON of off-campus housing. It's not hard to find places close to campus and there is a wide variety of price ranges/quality to choose from.

Greek Life: We have no greek life, I'm pretty sure BYU just flat out won't sponsor it.

Administration: It's great if you come to BYU expecting it to be strict. If you want to party, this is not the school for you. If you want to be serious about academics and have good, clean fun, then come to BYU.

Scholarships: The financial aid process is all online and really easy. If you need you can go into the office - which is in a very convenient location - but the steps are laid out online so usually it's not a hassle.

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

View student contributors

A BYU experience is unlike anything else. The things that you will learn go far beyond what is taught in the classrooms, and the people that you will meet are exceptional. Researching the school, and being familiar with the rules and expectations of students, will make the transition smoother and help you get the most out of your BYU experience.

Talking with people who have attended, reading books such as this one, and looking at the BYU Web site (www.byu.edu) are all great ways to make sure that this is really the school for you. If you decide that BYU is what you want, then jump in and enjoy it! You are in for a great and character-building experience.
