Guys & Girls: The people at this school share the same views as me. I find that really helpful when it comes to making friends. I think it's also great how people come from all over the country to attend this school.

Guys & Girls: Many would be surprised to find out that there are quite a few very good looking individuals that go to this school. I am aware that the school itself has been listed high on many other sites for generally having a very attractive student body. The honor code insures that men and women are following strict grooming standards that really showcase the good looking people here.

Guys & Girls: Guys and Girls here are beautiful! Occasionally some of them are even smart too!

Guys & Girls: LGBT dating is non-applicable for this campus. Most everyone on this campus is trying to be their own kind of "fashionably unique" that they all blend together in a sea of sameness. Most guys are work out, truck, and gaming junkies. The ladies are pretty much the same, but in the female respect.

The girls at BYU-Idaho are very different from what you will find anywhere else in the world. There are a lot of very attractive girls, and they are very friendly. A large portion of the girls do have a bit of a chip on their shoulder about dating, but for the most part, relationships and dating life are going to be what you make of it. Girls generally dress pretty modestly; you won't see a lot of cleavage or short-shorts from the girls on campus. If you ask these young women what occupies most of their thoughts, they will say dating or relationships. It is fairly typical for people to get married pretty young here at BYU-Idaho.

The boys at BYU-Idaho are one-of-a-kind. They uphold the LDS church standards, which includes being modest and clean. Most of them leave for their two-year mission as early as age 19. So, it’s a little tough to find 20-year-old male students. These missions help increase their communication skills and cultural awareness. Many RMs get the bad rep of being weird; sometimes, it takes them a while to get back into the swing of things after returning, and many of them are very wrapped up in finding a wife ASAP. After a few months, this mentality wears off a bit, and they lose the weird edge. They, like girls, really enjoy dating and finding their future companions. There may not seem like many places or things to do in Rexburg, but the guys always find something really fun and different to do.

Birth Control Available?
Yes
The Student Health Center does give birth control prescriptions, as do other pharmacies in the area. But single students don't have a high demand for birth control, since part of the Honor Code requires students to abstain from sex until marriage.

Social Scene
Students are very outgoing and confident, for the most part. Since most students have a common religion and set of standards, they feel comfortable being themselves and want to be friendly and social with others.
Hookups or Relationships?
A "random hookup" at this school is definitely not what most people would consider "hooking up." "Hooking up" at a Mormon school is maybe kissing or just going out on one date. Most single students date several people. When they find a mutual connection with another person, typically, they start dating exclusively. It's not uncommon for students to get engaged and married after meeting at BYU-Idaho. In fact, almost half of the student population is married.
Dress Code
Students follow the Honor Code, which keeps them from wearing anything too casual on campus like shorts or flip-flops. It also commits men to be clean-shaven. Overall, students have a preppy look to them. Some of the more expressive students go for a more bohemian/grungy/retro/hippy sort of look. But, overall, students are very clean cut. Most often, it's jeans and T-shirts. But for occasions like church and devotional, students will wear a white dress shirt and tie or blouse and skirt or dress. Dates and parties are usually casual.
