Campus Housing: They don't have any idea what they're doing.

Athletics: We actually do not have a varsity sports program. We are a non-competitive sports school. Intramurals are great!

Overall Experience: I have grown and been stretched so much in matters of knowledge and spirit over this past semester. The people, here, both students and faculty, are so incredible, and care about your growth and success. "Friendly" does not do justice to the feelings of brotherly love, care, and kindness you experience, here. On top of that, the program, particularly the engineering program pushes you to help you recognize and find your full potential. I love this school and the people, here.

Overall Experience: You get what you put into this school. If you want to have a good time and make lots of friends you can you just have to put yourself in the position to. If you want to hate it and be miserable because of the rules well then my all means you can do that too. If you put in any effort, any at all, into enjoying this place you will find that it is actually not too bad of a place to be.

Overall Experience: I'm involved in the Pathway program that is given by BYU-Idaho. Thus far it has expanded my love for education, hard work and dedication. BYU-Idaho has provided me a chance to get my feet back on the ground and really get serious about earning an education.

Overall Experience: There are good and bad things about the university. The weather can be a bit surprising within the day. The courses are just difficult enough to keep me busy and not bored.

Overall Experience: I've had some great professors, and definitely learned a lot. It's cool to be around people who have high standards. The classes are generally pretty small so I feel like my professors get to know me on a more personal basis making it easier to go to them for help. The rexburg area is really cool too, especially in the summer because there are a lot of fun things to do outside. I would choose this school if I had to do it again. I like that it is a small campus because i was worried about feeling overwhelmed when I got to college. I can walk from one side of campus to the other in about 15 minutes, which is something you can't do at a lot of other schools because the campus is like it's own little city. You can really feel how much the school cares about their students and how much they want to help you succeed as they offer things such as free tutoring for every subject.

Overall Experience: BYU-I is the greatest! Its programs are well planned to give students the best learning experiences. The teachers are to follow a specific learning model to suit everyone's needs. There are plenty of extracurricular activities and groups, so anyone can get involved or help others doing just about anything they want. The atmosphere is great and uplifting, and there are innumerable resources in place to help anyone succeed.

Overall Experience: I have enjoyed Brigham Young University thoroughly. Due to the respect and encouragement I feel that I have received, as well as the overall high quality of education I have obtained, if the opportunity came to me once more to choose my path of education again, I would still come to this university. One aspect about this school which I have enjoyed is how centered it is about its students developing into leaders. They do not just want us to do well in our respective fields, they want us to thrive. Thrive to the point of being sufficiently capable to be able to help others to master their fields as well.

Overall Experience: I just feel very overwhelmed but it is my first semester here so I'm sure it will get better. The professors are nice, there are good resources, and there's lots to do. I just wish I felt like I could approach either teachers or tutors when I need help. I don't know if it's social anxiety or if they really don't seem approachable.

Overall Experience: BYU-Idaho is an LDS based school. It is a great place to attend school where students share a common religion and religious beliefs with me. If I could do it all over again, I would probably not choose it again. I love the school, but it is located in a very small town with nothing with which to be entertained.

Overall Experience: I love attending BYU-Idaho. It has such an amazing atmosphere and wonderful professors. I love that people here care about my well-being and aren't just here to receive a paycheck or to just get through the day. I feel welcome everywhere I go. This campus also has tons of inexpensive and uplifting activities that go on throughout the week. I would definitely choose this school again if I could because I love the size of the campus, small town, and uplifting environment.

BYU-Idaho professors and other students take a lot of interest in students personally, to help them achieve their academic goals and improve their overall well-being. They care about how you do in classes, what you have to contribute to the school, and what you're doing besides school to enhance your lifelong learning. The BYU-I experience really becomes what the students make it. Students who just study to get by learn to do the bare minimum with the least amount of effort, and students who want to make the most of their education and learn and grow from being a student work longer and harder in a variety of pursuits that span beyond academics.

It may be hard to believe that there are so many opportunities to develop skills in a given area from attending a little school in Rexburg, Idaho. But just as BYU-Idaho takes huge steps in innovating learning and maximizing resources, students learn to be innovative hard-workers who know how to problem-solve and communicate effectively. Most students who realize the potential they have in being admitted to this school and who take advantage of the opportunities offered here quickly learn how to make their BYU-Idaho experience worthwhile.
