Overall Experience: The campus is fairly large but easy to get to and from buildings, I love how the teachers know us by name and they seem to care about us and our education. Its also great that there are a ton of activities to do here including bowling in the man building, country, Latin, ballroom, and swing dancing every week and danced every weekend. Its become a great place to learn and for me to grow as an adult. The weather has taken a toll on me since its cold but I love everything else about BYUi

Overall Experience: BYU Idaho is absolutely the best school I could ever be at. I am surrounded by people who are there to help me and make me a better person. The professor truly care about each of their students. They try to know the names of their students despite the large number of students they teach. Campus is beautiful and always immaculate.

Overall Experience: I love the school I am at. Being a private, religious school there are a lot of rules and a strict honor code, that makes it nice though because for the majority of the time you do not have to hear swearing, any immature pranks, or any poor sports. Also it is nice to see that in all things that exist in this world there is always a reason for everything. Even a way on how we can find the answers ourselves. Answers that are more religious and secular at the same time. We can pray in every class, and no one is offended. We can talk freely about our beliefs and no one chooses to take offence. There is a great feeling of overall peace and tranquility here ion the campus. There are so many other reasons why.

Overall Experience: My college helped me to grow academically and spiritually, since it is a church owned school. I felt at home and that the teachers were really there for me--they were more like mentors rather than mere instructors. The class sizes were small and intimate. The atmosphere is more of a "let's help each other graduate" rather than competing with one another. Overall, BYU-I has met my needs.

Overall Experience: Something that would have made it easier to choose would have been attending class at each of the universities I was checking out.

Overall Experience: The close teacher to student relationship is incredible. I love the fact that I can get to know my professors and that they are willing to spend extra time with me to teach me and get to know me. This school really works hard at providing me the best possible learning experience and help. I have nothing negative to say about the school.

Overall Experience: my experience here has been fantastic! the classes are designed for the benefit of each student. free tutoring is amazing! the unique aspect of this school is that each class starts with a prayer and daily life focuses on Jesus Christ here on campus.if i could choose to start all over and apply for other school i would still pick this school because of how amazing every aspect of the school is and how well the curriculum is designed.

Overall Experience: I really do like the school I attend. i like that it is relatively small. I think this makes it easier to get to know other students and makes the classes feel more personal. The teachers are probably one of the best parts of this school. They genuinely care about their students. I became sick with a terrible cold and didn't show up for class for two of three days (I had never missed a class yet) and my teacher sent me an email asking if I was okay. I've never had such caring teachers. they don't just care that we get a quality education, but that we also succeed in life and meet our goals. I like that the majority of the students on campus have high moral value as well. The tuition is inexpensive for the quality of education we receive here as well. The only down side that I can think of is that it gets very cold here in the winter and that the administration can be a pain to work with sometimes. Overall, I feel like I can't complain too much and am happy with my choice of school.

Overall Experience: It really is a privilege to be apart of this school. One of the things I love most about this school are the people. Probably the nicest people you will ever come in contact with. And you can tell that there is a different atmosphere here compared to most colleges. You will come to find out that this school not only cares about you personally, but you spiritually as well. In every class they are always trying to find ways to relate subjects back to the gospel. It's a different way of learning, but it really helps you grow. If you are also looking for an affordable school to go to this would be it. You get a great education from some of the best professors for a decent cost compared to most colleges. If you are interested in going to BYU-I then I suggest doing it. You won't regret it.

Overall Experience: I really like the free resources the school offers to students, such as free tutoring. The campus is very beautiful and well taken care of. I know there's a high moral standard you're held to, but I feel it sometimes gets more attention then the educational aspect of why you're there.

Overall Experience: I think for the quality of education received, the cost to receive that education is second to none. There seems to be a lot of group work, which I'm not a fan of; but overall I think the professors are of the highest quality.

Overall ExperienceWhat's this?

View student contributors

BYU-Idaho professors and other students take a lot of interest in students personally, to help them achieve their academic goals and improve their overall well-being. They care about how you do in classes, what you have to contribute to the school, and what you're doing besides school to enhance your lifelong learning. The BYU-I experience really becomes what the students make it. Students who just study to get by learn to do the bare minimum with the least amount of effort, and students who want to make the most of their education and learn and grow from being a student work longer and harder in a variety of pursuits that span beyond academics.

It may be hard to believe that there are so many opportunities to develop skills in a given area from attending a little school in Rexburg, Idaho. But just as BYU-Idaho takes huge steps in innovating learning and maximizing resources, students learn to be innovative hard-workers who know how to problem-solve and communicate effectively. Most students who realize the potential they have in being admitted to this school and who take advantage of the opportunities offered here quickly learn how to make their BYU-Idaho experience worthwhile.
