Overall Experience: I absolutely love going to BYU-Idaho!

Academics: I would say the academics here are really good.

Health & Safety: The environment on campus is very safe. Any "crimes" reported are usually things like people stealing socks or breaking into their apartments because its past curfew and they got locked out. The honor code here is strictly upheld and I have never felt in danger here. On top of that, it's pretty well lit and there are campus security booths that are easily accessible in case of an emergency.

Overall Experience: My experience with courses and professors has been amazing. Because the classes here are fairy small in size, I was able to get to know quite a few of my professors. They all care for our success and are always willing to help us. The courses have also been really great and I've been able to learn a lot in each of them. I love how they tie in the academic subjects with the doctrine of our religion, because that has helped me learn more about both and also see how I can apply those academic topics to every day life.

Overall Experience: I think my school has a pretty good prospects as far as jobs and internships go. I'm still no at that stage yet, but I have many friends who've graduated and have been able to find success in their fields. I wouldn't say it's the best though, since it is a fairly small school, but I do think there are many opportunities for me.

Overall Experience: Surprisingly enough, I came to really love this school. It wasn't my top choice but after experiencing the safe, friendly, and inviting environment, I feel that this is a place that allows me to be myself. The professors truly care for their students here and the small class sizes also allow me to get to know them better. The students here are also very humble and down-to-earth, and I've been able to make friendships that I feel will truly last. Because this is a religious school, I am also able to grow spiritually as well as academically. I feel that this university really aims at helping us grow not only as scholars, but as respectable people as well. For all of these reasons, if I were back in high school and applying, this school will definitely become my number one school.

Campus Housing: They don't have any idea what they're doing.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: We actually do not have a varsity sports program. We are a non-competitive sports school. Intramurals are great!

Overall Experience: I have grown and been stretched so much in matters of knowledge and spirit over this past semester. The people, here, both students and faculty, are so incredible, and care about your growth and success. "Friendly" does not do justice to the feelings of brotherly love, care, and kindness you experience, here. On top of that, the program, particularly the engineering program pushes you to help you recognize and find your full potential. I love this school and the people, here.

Overall Experience: You get what you put into this school. If you want to have a good time and make lots of friends you can you just have to put yourself in the position to. If you want to hate it and be miserable because of the rules well then my all means you can do that too. If you put in any effort, any at all, into enjoying this place you will find that it is actually not too bad of a place to be.

Overall Experience: I've had some great professors, and definitely learned a lot. It's cool to be around people who have high standards. The classes are generally pretty small so I feel like my professors get to know me on a more personal basis making it easier to go to them for help. The rexburg area is really cool too, especially in the summer because there are a lot of fun things to do outside. I would choose this school if I had to do it again. I like that it is a small campus because i was worried about feeling overwhelmed when I got to college. I can walk from one side of campus to the other in about 15 minutes, which is something you can't do at a lot of other schools because the campus is like it's own little city. You can really feel how much the school cares about their students and how much they want to help you succeed as they offer things such as free tutoring for every subject.

Overall Experience: BYU-I is the greatest! Its programs are well planned to give students the best learning experiences. The teachers are to follow a specific learning model to suit everyone's needs. There are plenty of extracurricular activities and groups, so anyone can get involved or help others doing just about anything they want. The atmosphere is great and uplifting, and there are innumerable resources in place to help anyone succeed.

Overall Experience: The teachers at BYU-I truly care about their students. Small class sizes are great and the Spirit felt here on campus compares to nothing else

BYU-Idaho professors and other students take a lot of interest in students personally, to help them achieve their academic goals and improve their overall well-being. They care about how you do in classes, what you have to contribute to the school, and what you're doing besides school to enhance your lifelong learning. The BYU-I experience really becomes what the students make it. Students who just study to get by learn to do the bare minimum with the least amount of effort, and students who want to make the most of their education and learn and grow from being a student work longer and harder in a variety of pursuits that span beyond academics.

It may be hard to believe that there are so many opportunities to develop skills in a given area from attending a little school in Rexburg, Idaho. But just as BYU-Idaho takes huge steps in innovating learning and maximizing resources, students learn to be innovative hard-workers who know how to problem-solve and communicate effectively. Most students who realize the potential they have in being admitted to this school and who take advantage of the opportunities offered here quickly learn how to make their BYU-Idaho experience worthwhile.
