Local Area: In terms of being a college town, Bowling Green is great. That's about it though. If you want any local attractions outside of school you'll have to go to at least Perrysburg if not Toledo. Outside of the Black Swamp arts festival in the fall there's not much going down in Bowling Green that doesn't involve BGSU.

The attractions in Toledo are alright since it's somewhat big (or big enough). There's more to do there but it's far from the safest or most attractive looking place to be. Mud Hens and Walleye games are cool and so is the art museum. Throw in a decent mall and that's about it.

Perrysburg is essentially shopping center with a town in it. It's only about ten minutes up I-75 and you'll find plenty of shopping and restaurants there. Oh, and a sweet movie theater.

If you're feeling adventurous, BG is within a couple of hours from some much bigger cities. Detroit, Ann Arbor, Columbus and Cleveland are all relatively close if you want to see a good concert or something.

Local Area: It's a normal small university town. It can be a littl born sometimes but I usually just stay on campus.
