College Freshman

Party Scene: Im not one to party, so i couldnt really talk about that. Fun for me on the weekends is staying in and hanging out with my other friends that do not go out either.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Its still very expensive and im going to have debt for a long time because i switched my major and i need summer classes as well.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: There isnt as many healthy options as i wish there was, but overall its not too horrible to eat.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The cost is a little too much for me, but it is one of the only school near me that i can go into Inclusive Early childhood. I love the atmosphere though.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't lived off-campus yet because of school policies. I have heard that it's better cost to live off-campus, but you miss out on many activities because they're centered on-campus.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I only go to off-campus dining places once in a blue moon.

4 College Freshman

Administration: It's really not that strict, and because of that it's usually left up to the students to decide their actions and what consequences will come from them (which I personally think is a good thing).

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I only have one scholarship from the school. I see many scholarships opportunities, but I can't apply for them because of my current academic standing and Pre-Major status.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I haven't attended any parties on campus.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The dining is decent enough. There are plenty of options to choose from, however, most of those options are unhealthy. There are plenty of veggies around campus, but I would LOVE to see more whole fruit at least in The Oaks not just a toss of chopped pineapple with a couple strawberries and raspberries here and there at the salad bar and some apples and oranges dotted here and there in the faculty. Usually the food is good, but sometimes it just sucks. I only had nachos at The Oaks once because the meat tasted like dish soap.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I live in Founders. It's pretty spacious, but I sense a lack of community in the halls. There are always events going on somewhere in the residence dorms, but you have to look for some of them.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Everything's centred around the football team which makes the school spirit pretty awesome. The rugby team is also pretty great. The rec center is new, and it's amazing.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There's a few sketchy places, but most of them are pretty decent. The places that the students live in are pretty average college apartments, but the places that the townies would live in are pretty nice. Lots of old people so it's quiet

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: It's not great or anything. I guess it's like any other town

3 College Freshman

Administration: I mean I haven't had any real problems with admin so I'm assuming it's okay

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: There's a lot of financial aid options and the people in charge of it are super nice and easy to work with

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: I mean we're kind of a party school so you can pretty much find parties anywhere, and they're usually pretty awesome

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: It can be good for the most part, but usually the swipe meals at outtakes is so so so disgusting.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The rooms are relatively small, but still big enough to live in. The RAs are great and plan a ton of activities. The only real downside is all the fire alarms; I've counted 27 just this semester.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are housing fairs, but I found my first apartment through a group of friends who were looking for a fourth roommate. Look for connections! They are usually right under your nose.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There aren't many options that I could not find in any other small town, but what's there is not bad. My personal favorite is El Zarape.

4 College Junior

Administration: The policy on alcohol in dorms is very strict, as is academic honesty.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Like most college students, I completed the FAFSA. Federal work study is a whole different balllgame.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: I was not much of a partier, per se (I'm very involved, and I use the weekends to catch up on sleep!) but the ones I did go to were generally house parties of friends I know. It seems like people who want to manage to find their ways to parties pretty easily, from what I hear.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: I did not visit the Carillon more than I absolutely had to. For me it was Oaks all the way! I liked the more open layout. It has more space and much better options.

The Union is pretty convenient, though rather pricey.
