Off-Campus Housing: The school has flyers and posters for off campus living but I think they fail to realize we are college students. Tuition, books and other cost are already digging our pockets deep

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing has its perks, but can get annoying too. For example living off-campus can be good because you don't have to worry about making too much noise, you can eat whatever you want, and go wherever you want and you can come and go to the campus as you please. The struggle with off-campus housing is you have to wake up early in order to be on time for your classes. If you drive you have to pay for a parking pass. If you take public transportation it can get exhausting.

Some students have complained that housing costs a little too much on campus and that they'd rather invest in an apartment, transportation back and forth from school, and pay bills for less than what the campus charges for room and board. Freshmen are expected to stay on campus during their first year. A majority of the students on campus moves off campus after their freshman year.

There are many areas within and surrounding the city of Bowie where students can reside. From Laurel to Largo, Crofton to Bowie itself, these places are close enough to campus that you should be able to travel to campus in 20 minutes or less. Apartments vary according to the area and who is contracting the apartment. Most amenities are included. Higher-end apartments include all amenities with extra benefits. Simply put, off-campus living is the way to go.
