Campus Food

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Definately and all dining points plan would be the best

3 College Senior

Campus Food: The food isn't the greatest. The new dining hall – Marciano is pretty okay, but like I mentioned above, they try to be too "fancy"

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Just too pricey, another thing that I wish I just hadn't done so I could save money. HOWEVER, if you are in an apartment, get the $500 (or $1000) apartment plan! You receive that money in points, which you can use on B&N textbooks, printing, food, whatever. AND you get 80 (or 160) meals for free. So worth it. And quite honestly, the one great deal I found at BU.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Plenty of options but i wish dining halls had more variety

5 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food on campus may seem to get a bit repetitive after a while but generally it is very good. I went to visit a friend at another college and I was extremely disappointed with their food. We actually have it really good when it comes to food! I recommend using your meal plan before paying for your own stuff! You have the plan for a reason! Try something new!!

While it is not uncommon to hear complaints about the food, most students will agree that BU is pretty hooked-up in that department. There is a huge variety and tons of places to use your meal plan around campus. To get your money’s worth, check out the specialty nights and the smaller eateries on campus. Remember, the meals are not refundable, but most of the plans provide many more meal than you'll actually need. If you do the math, each meal costs about $9, so eat up. Even if you just stop by for an ice cream, you may as well use the meals that you are paying for anyway.

The food at BU is conistently ranked one of the best in the country, which means someone’s enjoying it.  The presentation is very well done, too, so even if it doesn’t taste right, it looks like it should. Four years of the same food, however, will dull your taste buds.
