Campus Food

{{ error }}
4 College Freshman

Campus Food: After a while, much like other food, campus food will get boring. Sometimes the dining halls will have speciality desserts, fruits, and made-to-order options.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Very pricey. Menus get repetitive/predictable fairly quickly. Some dining halls (Addie's, Stuart) prepare food better than others. Eagle Bucks and Optional Bucks run out very quickly.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: The food is decent freshman year, but gets very boring and there are many times I can't find anything I want to eat. Even worse for SAs, who only have the option to eat at Lower/Mac for every meal

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Same options most of the time but it's not too bad.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: While there isn't always an extensive array of options, the food is high quality.

You can find just about any type of food on campus at Boston College. From sushi to gourmet sandwiches, from international cuisine to American finger foods, BC has it all. Freshmen generally eat in Stuart or McElroy because it is closer to their dorms, while uppserclassmen dine at Lower. These three locations all serve the same type of foods, and try to switch up their menus as often as possible to keep things less monotonous.

Hillside Café is an especially popular place to grab a meal, serving gourmet toasted sandwiches, homemade potato chips (lovingly call “Frips”), and a variety of tasty dipping sauces. Lyons Hall, or The Rat, is located on Middle Campus and serves fast food—students stop here between classes for a quick hot dog or sandwich. Feeling especially classy? Try the fresh sushi or gourmet cheese platters. Eagle’s Nest is a student favorite, serving freshly tossed salads, soups in bread bowls, and ready-made wraps. If you have a sweet tooth, the Chocolate Bar is the place for you—it serves chocolate desserts, flavored coffees, and ice cream. Your meal plan covers all of these locations, and any student can eat at any dining hall on campus. Additionally, there are many nearby restaurants that will also accept your meal plan as a form of payment—some will even deliver right to your door!
