Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
Full-time dorm students are allowed to work up to 25 hours per week on campus. In order to get a popular job, a student should apply early and e-mail the supervisor to show interest. Networking skills come in handy since it is faster to get a job with another worker's referral. BJU used to let students have more than one job; however, because of the economy crisis in 2008, keeping a job became difficult. A lot of students are on a waiting list to be hired, so the incoming student who wants to get a job on campus should keep that in mind.
