I am thankful for BRCC many class choices as far as the numerous times during the day they are offered. I work full time and have been also attending BRCC full time since 2008 and with the class times offered it has only conflicted with my job this past semester. The class I needed was only offered one semester of the year during the late morning, but it worked out because my employer also understood the predicament I was in and that I needed this class to transfer to ODU. I owe a life time of support to my BRCC my community college of choice. :)
(I will be dual enrolled next year as a BRCC student and also an ODU student. Another great thing about BRCC is i will be getting my BS from ODU via distant learning. Most of the BS is offered online but due to some of the classes being televised via tele-tech-net...BRCC offers me the opportunity to go to their campus and do my ODU lectures and class work. I am so thankful for BRCC!
Thanks for this opportunity to give kudos to my college!

Decent Could Be Better! Overall good experience, definitely isn't a true college experience but prepares you more for big universities. I like that guaranteed tranfer choice because for those students who do well they are guaranteed into the college of their choice. Blue Ridge faculty are very helpful with answering questions and they have updated the campus a lot to fit our needs. There is a shuttle for those students who don't have any transportation and that is a plus.

I love the smaller school atmosphere with the larger school oppertunities. It's a community type feel, and teachers are more than willing to help you achive your goals. It's a wonderful cost effective stepping stone. You don't lose anything by going to community college!
