Telecommunications at Bloomsburg University – Being a Telecommunications major here at Bloomsburg is great. The program offers many courses that allow hands-on work for the students as well as extracurricular activities that provide the same hands-on experience. The workload is not overwhelming. As a telecommunications major, I feel I divide my time equally amongst my classes for my major and my other general education courses. As for the facilities, they're great. We have access to two studios complete with cameras, audio boards, teleprompters, proper lighting, and all of the other equipment that makes taping shows possible. Bloomsburg has a great reputation and as long as you are in good standing with the telecommunications program, an internship and job opportunity will be no problem. Bloomsburg is a great school for telecommunications and deserves an A+!

Bloomsburg University is a great school, great teachers, great office hours, you can get all the help you want. The campus is very big, but the classes are nearby dorms so it only takes a couple minutes to go to class. Class schedules are easy to work around with and very flexible. Many clubs and sports to join, they do have deadlines so if you want to join before the deadline! This university is unique because the students that dorm and commute there are very friendly, and it is very easy to make friends.

I would consider Bloomsburg University a very diverse school. It is not uncommon to walk around campus and see interracial couples, interracial groups of friends, as well as a homosexual couple. All of those things are accepted here at Bloomsburg. We are know as "BU where you can Be You," and this university allows the chance for every student to do that. There are many groups on campus that represent diversity as well. We have groups for African-American students, for Homosexual students, for Religious students. It's such a great feeling knowing that I attend a university where everyone can be apart of something that represents them and walk around campus and truly be themselves!
