5 College Junior

Health & Safety: There isn't much campus crime here and when there is the University does a good job with notifying all students and giving the students tips on how to prevent these crimes from happening. The university text and e-mails every student.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: With the major I want to pursue to graduate I have to find a internship which will help get me to the next step in my field.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: As a summer freshmen I lived in Columbia hall which was bad because the building does not have air conditioning. My fall semester I moved into Elwell hall the year it was newly remodeled so it was definitely the best option for a place to live after the rough heat in Columbia for the summer.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: The greeks housing off-campus is definitely the best housing available. Inside and out every house is big and beautiful although through the year because of parties they begin to look rundown by the spring semester.

3 College Junior

Athletics: My school is pretty big on football but not for many other athletics. Attendance gets high during the playoff season but usually it brings a mediocre crowd even though our football team does well every year.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My overall experience with school so far has been great. I truly believe I chose the best school to fit my needs. My best experience so far with school has been becoming the captain of the schools club rugby team and trying to change the teams bad reputation into a respected team on campus and around the community.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The sports teams set a great example for Bloomsburg! Also, the school spirit is the best!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love Bloomsburg University and I chose it because the have the best Education program in the surrounding colleges. I would definitely choose Bloom again because I love being a husky!

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I don't go out however there are parties almost every night of the week.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: There are parties almost every night of the week however block party weekend is the biggest.

4 College Freshman

Academics: We have many degree programs and tons of classes. The general education requirements are set up to make sure students get a diverse set of classes.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: The campus is very diverse.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I personally have not been around the drug scene but I've heard about it. I have never seen any drugs on campus other than some alcohol, other than that most drug use among students happens off campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe and comfortable walking alone on campus. We have multiple emergency call stations around campus and there is an escort service for students who feel uncomfortable walking alone at night. Anytime there is any sort of crime or security issue the campus ends out an email and/or text message stating what happened, where, and what time, this is great because it keeps students informed on what is happening and if they need to take extra safety measures.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The class sizes are small, there are a variety of courses offered.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Last year the nursing program had a 100% pass rate when the students took their licensure exams, so I would say the career prospects for my major are pretty high.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I live in Schuylkill Hall, it's one of the oldest building and you can definitely tell. It's needs updated. One of the showers on the second floor has two band aids on the shower head. The ceiling paint in the showers is chipping and the hooks are rusty.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life does a lot of community service and most are very friendly and don't treat non-Greeks any different from Greeks.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I am not very involved in sports on campus.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I picked the school because it was affordable as has one of the best nursing programs in PA. The class sizes are small and student oriented. The majority of the professors are friendly and open for discussion. There are many clubs and organizations to get involved in.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Not impressed with Greek life.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Don't really pay attention to the sports prof on campus. I myself spend more time doing other social activities and working with other groups

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: They offer courses that come in lectures and classroom sizes of 20-30. This was so beneficial to me because I don't work well in very large settings. In the smaller classroom I was able to receive better one on one contact that helped me to strive in the course

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Professors always push you to do more than average, helping to decided second majors and pick up minors. We always have alumni speak to us in lectures letting us know the power of a degree

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus is pretty great, it's a nice size campus so you don't have to do too much walking to get to your destination. Only downside is that the school is literally built on a hill so walking to classes is sometimes a hassle. The dorms are air conditioned and heated so that's a plus.
