College Student

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live near the school, i just live at home, which means i can't really comment on the housing other than it's all pretty nice looking.

Off-Campus Dining: My favorite place is the organic cafè near the sushi bar! Best smoothies i've ever had, and literally at least 200 feet away from campus, super close.

4 College Student

Administration: It's strict when it needs to be but overall it's not overbearing or interruptive.

4 College Student

Party Scene: Usually i don't go to parties, i just hamg with my gf and friends, but when we go out it's pretty awesome.

5 College Student

Scholarships: All the scholarships i got were from high school and such but they took my aid no problem~

Campus Food: I mean on occasion i pack my own lunches (again, commuter convienence, also if i just feel like bringing in my own snacks i will), but with my meal plan i usually eat at school and this stuff is the BEST. Honestly if people from Bloom U are sayin "the food is bad", i'd ask them where on earth are you eating? Bloom really is top notch in every aspect.

Campus Housing: Actually i'm a commuter so i don't actually "have a dorm" but i've stayed over at my girlfriend's enough that i'm super familiar with the layout and atmosphere of it. It's really a 5/5, Bloom is so awesome!

Off-Campus Housing: hard to get an apartment or off campus housing

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: not good but not bad

College Freshman

Administration: My RA does not do her job. There is constant noise, drugs, alcohol, and visitors.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I was barely eligible for aid although my parents income would suggest that I would definitely need aid. They do not give out academic scholarships to freshman, only athletic, and the way to apply for scholarships as an upperclassman is a complete headache.

Campus Food: The food on campus is okay. I sometimes feel sick after eating it. Sometimes it's very good. They tend to always have the same meals. Little variety. There are HORRIBLE options for gluten free, and the vegetarian station never changes.

Campus Housing: The housing is just okay. The bathrooms are pretty dirty, and rarely cleaned. The rooms are decent sized, but most people are tripled. The rules of housing are not enforced and many times people are loud throughout the entire night. The hall is usually very clean, and the mail is in my dorm, which is nice.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I never experienced off-campus living

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is a diverse set of restaurants downtown that you can choose from, and they are reasonable priced.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I think it is important for administration to watch over us, as we may make mistakes for ourselves or put someone else in danger. Lots of students don't realize they make these rules to keep us safe.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I don't party, as I see it is a waste of time, and an activity that will destroy my possibilities as an educator. Some of my friends go out though, and they say it is pretty fun.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I am a student who's parent makes enough money a year to receive low financial aid, but she has very poor credit. Through the help of BU's financial aid office, I was able to get the financial aid I needed.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: I love the food here, as it changes daily, and it isn't afraid to be diverse.

Campus Housing: Living in the dorms at Bloomsburg University is actually really fun. It doesn't cost that much, especially comparing to different colleges around Pennsylvania. The dorms are nicely organized and aren't very small. They are really comfortable, and I have met some of my closest friends just by meeting on the floor lounge. I wouldn't mind living in dorms for all of undergraduate school.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I still live on campus so I cannot answer to the fullest, but from what I have seen and heard it is pretty good. Not too, many people complain about their living situations. When I leave the dorms I will be living on campus still, so hopefully they are just as good if not better than off-campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining can be better, I wish there were more options and one that were relatively closer. The choices are alright, not the best. It is not that hard for people who have their cars to get there but the ones who do not have their cars here it can get quite difficult to get around.

4 College Freshman

Administration: The administration here is not extremely strict or intimidating but everybody still respects the professors and other authority figures.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: The parties are fun and always exciting. Some times they can be nerve wracking but if you are with the right group of people and the right amount they can be really fun and worthwhile.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid process would probably be a little bit of a hassle no matter where you go to college but thr financial aid office and the Bursar's office here at Bloomsburg University is very helpful with getting us through the process
