Academic Flexibility: The academic flexibility is wonderful. You can set your own agenda to make sure it works for you and to make sure you are not over working yourself.

Academic Flexibility: Flexibility of the classes is pretty good; however, at times there were not enough choices for class times or additional times were added after the fact and then I had to shuffle things around.

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of classes is great and the teachers are wonderful. They accommodate for the fact that we all have jobs or family issues that need to be taken care of. Just let the teacher know and you can either come to another class or make it up later.

Academic Flexibility: Admin staff doesnt not return phone calls or respond to emails. I was frustrated trying to get transfer credit and got a run around trying to figure out why I wasnt getting credit. Its frustrating when you are trying to get your classes in order to petition for entrance into a particular program.

Academic Flexibility: The main reason I chose blackhawk technical college is because it's the only technical school in the area I live. I am satisfied with the education I am recieving. The thing I don't like is that alot of people in my class sit in the computer room on facebook and youtube instead of working on the machining or reading our school books. The reason I don't like this is because most of them to the bear minimum to pass and I don't want to be in the field with them. The reason I don't want to be in the field with them is because employers are going to learn very fast that they don't know much about the work and I'm afraid that employers will see I graduated from the same school and same class as them and believe that I don't know about the work either, even tho I am usually the only one or one of two on the machines which is horrible since last semester there was over fourty students in the class. However at the same moment I like how the class is, because the instructor doesn't spoon feed the information to you, you actually have to try and want to learn and show that to him.
