Overall Experience: I love the school I decided to go to, the staff is wonderful and so willing to help. They understand that students have a personal life that can interfere with studies sometimes and are willing to work with you if needed, all you have to do is communicate. The work is hard enough to challenge students but not hard enough to overwhelm them.

Off-Campus Dining: It's like any college town most of the fast food places close before ten pm

4 College Freshman

Administration: The alcohol restriction I think is very strict and I like that your not allowed to drink on campus

Scholarships: I feel that the school should not go off of what your parents make because some parents won't help their child with school.

1 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food is either burnt or frozen no in between

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The resident hall that I live in is not new and has been on campus for a while but it is better then most places.

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I came into my first year of on-campus living with a very positive attitude and was eager to experience dorm life. The people in my hall first semester were pretty cool, though I was placed in the dorm that was known to be home to the kids who were known to be "trouble". By second semester a vast majority of my friend group had either dropped out, transferred, or moved elsewhere, and they were replaced with people that I was less than interested in getting to known very well. The dorms are expensive for the cost, the RA's/night assistants are on duty until 5am EVERY night, and even falling asleep on the couch in the lobby will get you a $75 fine. Oh, and if your a girl, be prepared to deal with alarming bathroom conditions, such as unpleasant fluids on the toilet seats CONSTANTLY and hairballs which greet you from the same spot on the floor/shower wall for weeks. It could be worse, but I wish I would've known the downsides prior to moving in.

Off-Campus Housing: There is little to no available housing and it is way over priced for a town with no income.

1 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Every where closes by 8pm during the week and 10pm on the weekend.

2 College Junior

Administration: Its not the worst I have seen but it has a long way to go till it is a great place to be.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: There are few scholarships if you are from out of state. Their office is ran basically by students so help is minimal. I often end up with large monthly payments during the school year due to Fasfa not covering everything.

1 College Junior

Campus Food: Our food is often not cooked all the way. The company they contracted with recently charges us roughly $8 a meal and they are awful with a small time window.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Living on Campus has issues, one of the major ones is that the buildings are build poorly and they do not fix things. The Campus is old so the buildings are often in need of repair. However the school keep increasing the fees due to mismanagement of funds. This makes each year more frustrating then the previous. Also the advisers do not know the programs well.

Campus Quality: Campus quality is great. Well kept landscaping and the facilities are kept clean. Love that there is a coffee shop inside the library.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Financial aid went smoothly. Any and all questions were promptly answered.

Local Area: Great atmosphere and beauty. Lots to do as far as recreation goes. Something for everyone.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I generally feel pretty safe on campus. Campus crime is pretty low.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Dining in the area is about average for a smaller town. Several fast food chains which allows for convenience but not healthy options. There are a few awesome coffee shops with free wi fi. A great place to check out would be the Green Bean or the Blackbird. The local businesses are good about offering student discounts.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus housing is about average. Many of the housing locations are located near the campus. Some of the locations are a bit run down and a several places lack landscaping which gives it a sorta of depressing outdoor feel. Typically, as with most colleges, if you want a really nice apartment in a nice landscaped area, you will pay a hefty rent and those locations are not near the campus.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics at my school are well supported by the students, staff, and the community which results in awesome school spirit too.

3 College Senior

Athletics: We do well with the funding we have.

4 College Senior

Campus Food: Since I live off campus and do not eat on campus that often, I enjoy the options and think the food is great. Also I love that you can get salads by the pound, so much cheaper!

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I absolutely loved BHSU courses, professors, class sizes, class schedules, and environment!

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: They do a great job partnering with the community and near by communities to create connections for internships! But I do not have much knowledge about alumni networks or employer recruiting since I am headed straight to graduate school!

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus eating is great! There is good American, Chinese, Mexican, and Italian restaurants! Not to mention a handful of great cafe's! All the pricing is reasonable besides the italian and steak houses but that is to be expected! Not many offer student discounts though!
