Academic Experience: Go here as a last resort, BJ is a $$$ grubbing WASP type that prays on the poor, she cares nothing of the quality of education or the tools it takes to succeed (cuz then she'd have to spend $$$). The facilities are dirty, you are provided with broken/out of date/ sometimes nothing at all to service clients. If I were a client I'd turn around & walk right back out it's so dirty & unprofessional. Ms. T is amazing, Ms. D refused to check a hair cut of mine because she was painting her nails, real talk, that's the kind BJs is. That being said I graduated on time, I had to prepare myself for state boards because again, Ms D is painting her nails.or.playing cookie jam. I did get my license on the first try but I do feel I was robbed of a real education. ONLY GO HERE IF U HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS, avoid sister schools like cascade as well, put this greedy "Christian" woman out of business

Academic Experience: I was told about many things a cosmetologist doesn't do, mostly regarding manicures, only to find out that I am licensed tto do them but BJ doesn't want to buy the equipment so they tell students "you don't do that, don't worry about it"

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It sucks because I was an esthetician student and estos are generally quiet and cosmotology students are generally loud. it made it hard at times.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Less Favoritism – While attending this college, I have found that the instructors and even the owner of the college have a problem with favoritism. Students are not all treated equally by the staff. While frustrating, it does not pose such a terrible threat to the excellent basic cosmetology education that you receive here.
