Athletics: I do not know much about sports and teams in my school but when there is a game, almost everyone talks about it.

Overall Experience: The community at my school is absolutely lovely but the work load is a bit tough to handle.

Academics: The academics here are great! The professors really care about you and your well being probably the best part of Biola. The professors will push you to be the best possible student you can be, not something that you can get at a lot of other schools.

Health & Safety: Campus safety plays a huge roll on our campus. They are always walking around, making sure everything is intact and making sure everyone is safe. When it is late at night they will always offer you a ride back to your dorm, which is nice.

Overall Experience: My over all experience has been nothing more than okay. This is more of a commuters school. If you are strictly just here for school then by all means attend Biola University, but if you are looking for that strong real college experience, such as football games and late night runs attend another school because this is not the school for you. Do not get me wrong I have made some friendships here, but just in one semester all that changed because they felt like they could no longer attend Biola due to lack of their liking.

Overall Experience: The career center here has been great. They really care about you and will do everything in their power to set you up where you need to be in your career.

Campus Housing: The housing over all is great! Actually, it is one of the best qualities on campus. The new dorm is where I live and i love it even though it is not spacious. One of the very few things I really enjoy at Biola.

Greek Life: We do not have one.

Athletics: This is an event that you look to attend, when there is nothing to do. It is not something to look forward to, mostly because of the lack of school spirit.

Overall Experience: If i could rewind back in time, and take me back to May 1st... my school colors would have been green and yellow to be an Oregon Duck. Biola University was never my first choice but do to the fact of financial issues and family problems I was not able to attend Orgeon University. Not to say that Biola is not a great school just not exactly what i was expecting for my college experience. The rules are to strict I am in college not in middle school, I feel once Biola realizes this they will be more successful in attracting more prospective students. They have a well put together community during school hours, but once the weekend comes it seems like all of this crumbles. This is why I am applying for scholarships and trying to fulfill my dream of becoming a Duck!

Athletics: I'm not into sports but my school seems to support it a lot, recently Biola broke a new record for men's soccer team.

Overall Experience: I like this school. Friendly people, great professors. It's expensive so I really do recommend applying for extra scholarships and financial help if you struggle financially (I speak of experience). I would love to see more diversity though, but other than that it's a good school.

Overall Experience: Biola University is my favorite place to be, and there is no other school I would rather be at. We have professors and faculty that truly care about their students, and a great community. Biola is special because the students are so full of love, and everyone wants to make an impact for Christ with the career they are majoring in.

Overall Experience: I love my school because all students are Christians, so we start with a basic common belief, and can help each other grow by challenging each other in our faiths.

Overall Experience: Biola University is a really great place to be! The campus, in my opinion, is the perfect size as the longest distance you'll ever have to walk to your classes is maybe fifteen minutes. The people here are all so nice and welcoming! You really feel like the community at Biola is thriving. It's a very strongly Christian campus, which it should be because it is a Christian university. The only downside to coming to Biola (if you could consider it a downside) is that there are a lot of rules you ned to follow. Theres required chapels, you're on a contract that restricts you from doing things like drinking or clubbing, and dorm rules are very strict with gender segregation. Other than that, I think Biola is great!

Overall Experience: The school isn't perfect, but coming here I've found a lot of likeminded students who love Jesus and are invested, not only in their academics but in the lives of others as well. One of the first things that attracted me to this school was the atmosphere of the community here. You can tell people really love this place and really love many aspects of being here. Our teachers care a lot about us and the work is rigorous, especially in regards to the Biblical studies minor (and or major, if you choose to continue on with that, but you really get a lot out of your education here.

That said, the unfortunate part of it is that since it is a smaller school, not all majors have the same level of financial attention, which results in some class scheduling conflicts and such. But for the most part, experientially, it's a great university to learn about who you are and the real purpose behind how and why we live our lives, outside of just academics, the work force, and/or social dynamics.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
