4 College Junior

Campus Housing: My residence hall really emphasizes community. There is almost always someone with whom to get acquainted or re-acquainted.

Greek Life: I have not looked into joining a fraternity because of personal setbacks. It is difficult for me to currently make any commitments unless I know I can meet the responsibilities.

4 College Junior

Athletics: The athletic facilities are available to all students for practice and recreation, but student athletes will make the most use of them.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The campus is safe, but they could do a better job addressing sexual assault.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have enjoyed every class I have taken, and I have never had a bad professor. It is evident that the professors care about their work and the students. If you take time to invest in a relationship, a genuine friendship can emerge with professors.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are career and graduate fairs several times throughout the semester.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The community on campus is amazing, and living on campus has made me a better person.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: If you are involved in athletics then it is a priority, but besides that people hardly pay attention to that portion of school.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose this school again because of the community. The students of this school are Christ loving and are doing their best to represent Him. There are great opportunities to become involved on campus, and being a part of a ministry team on campus is the best decision I have made.

Diversity: Even though I am a minority at Biola I feel like I belong.

Academics: For many years, I struggled with an insecurity of fear and doubt about my education. Often, I felt a disconnection between my teachers and my education. Due to the lack of interest that I saw in my teachers life, I did not seek for additional help. However, my experience at Biola has helped me to gain the confidence that I need to fulfill my dream and help others through the love of Christ. Biola professors are encouraging and I see an interest in my education. I am easily able to access my teachers when I need extra help.

Health & Safety: Despite the fact that Biola is a christian university there are still many cases of sexual assault. I believe that we have to work together to prevent sexual assault from occurring in our campus.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I believe that the professors at Biola demonstrate knowledge about their material.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Biola encourages students to take an internship in their field to help them gain knowledge about their field and allow them to build connections.

Athletics: I am on the women's tennis team at Biola University. What I have seen so far has been a very positive experience. Almost every one of my friends are involved in either a team or an intramural team on campus. Athletics of all kinds are very important to this University and very well supported by the faculty yet we as athletes are not given an easier time simply because of that fact that we are athletes. I believe this is good because we have to work just as hard as other students involved in other programs. There is no special treatment and I am thankful for this.

Overall Experience: One of my favorite parts of Biola University is the Torrey Honor Institute. In this program I feel I am given the highest level of professors to teach and build both my academic and my spiritual life. I have one mentor who I will have for all four years of this program who works with me on my own level and gives me criticism in the ways that I can improve while still recognizing my strengths. I have been completely satisfied with every part of Biola, however Torrey Honors Institute is absolutely my favorite part.

Campus Housing: The dorm life at Biola is differently a healthy one for me. The relationships that I have built while living at Biola are some of the best that I have ever established. The community is welcoming and accepting.

Athletics: The school spirit at Biola is strong and full of unity.

Academics: Registration can either be easy or a nightmare. The professors and the classes they teach are generally great!

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on campus, even when walking around late at night.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The courses and professors are tough but good and you learn a lot.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I think that it is good, but it could be better. People like Biola grads because they know they are hard workers and stand for something.

4 College Senior

Athletics: There should be more emphasis put on going to sporting events. It is fun when people go and we are actually pretty good but people just don't know when things are happening.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: It has been a wonderful experience!

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I live off campus but all my friends say that it is very safe and convenient.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
