Campus Housing: To be honest I have not stayed at the campus dorms but from what I can see they are extremely nice.

Health & Safety: Biola goes above and beyone to ensure that its students are well taken care of.

Campus Quality: The Social Scene – One of the major reasons why I decided to choose Biola was the social scene. Every one is so welcoming and accepting. We all share similar morals and values which makes it easier to speak openly about any topic. The people are loving and the professors are even available and strive to be on a first name basis with their students.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Culturally Diverse – There's people at Biola from literally all over the world. As far as religion, Biola is very much a Christian university.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Great Cafeteria With Options – We have a pretty new cafeteria with lots of space and options for food and places to sit inside or outside. There's always several options for food and the continuous dining makes it easy to fit meals around class schedules. But while the food is great, you have to remember it's still a cafeteria, not mom's home cooking. It can still get old.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Professors Help Us Succeed – The professors here try hard to make sure we succeed by helping us understand and providing office hours and other ways to make themselves available. They expect us to earn our grades and learn the material.

4 College Junior

Administration: Social Lives – The contact can sometimes be a big pain. When you are 21 it is even worse.

4 College Junior

Technology: Had some issues with wifi but it has been fast and for the most part reliable.

4 College Junior

Academics: Psychology and Christian Thought – Loved the course. Hard work and a lot of time spent studying but so worth it in the end. Love the material and will really miss that class.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: It Is Not Tolerated – i have had friends get kicked out of the university because they were in possesion of drugs/alcohol. our school may give a warning, i'm not entirely sure of the policy bc i don't do that stuff. but i know that if you get caught with it more than once, you're pretty much out.

4 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Pretty Fun and Innocent – it seems to be pretty quiet and most people are in theirs dorms hanging out with friends watching movies, talking, or studying. occasionally there will be parties off campus, but most of them try to keep it dry and respectable. often if there is a group going out to see a movie and go to a bonfire at the beach we will try to invite as many people as we can, there always seems to be a group going out if you're the type to want to go out a lot.

Off-Campus Housing: Not Too Sure – i have been living in the dorms for two years and have not yet ventured to off campus housing. but of what i hear it can be stressful to find stuff. i do believe that the school has bought near by houses in the neighborhood that students can rent for reasonable prices. The school also provides a few apartment buildings but its kind of luck of the draw with that. i've heard that the other apartments in the area not associated with the school are not too bad either as long if you have a few roommates to split the rent with.

4 College Junior

Local Area: La Mirada – The city is safe, but not very convenient for students.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Dorm Community – Living on campus is a great experience. Every dorm has a unique community and plenty of dorm traditions. Dorm community is amazing, and it's a great place to learn and grow.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Not Enough – I'm frustrated that we are in a residential area which doesn't cater to late nights or healthy options.

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus. I never worry about where I am going, or when I am coming back. I trust that campus safety is taking care of the perimeter, and that I do not need to fear for my own safety any more than I should already.

3 College Senior

Campus Food: The meal plan needs to be more flexible and less expensive. Also, a better variety of food would be nice. Sometimes it gets to be a little boring. However the food is good quality a times.

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: The athletic center at Biola University is newly renovated and in geat condition. It is very clean and everyone helps eachother keep it that way. It is very private and non threatening environment. The library is very comfortable which is where I spend most of my time.

4 College Senior

Academics: Great Community – Biola University has an overall great community. Everyone is friendly and helpful as well as your home away from home. The campus is beautiful and comfortable. I never wanted to leave. Everything you need is right there on campus.

5 College Freshman

Weather: Since Biola is located in Southern California, specifically in Orange County, summer weather is always felt. Even on campus with the scenery of things, the weather does not look like a factor to dampen student learning.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: Getting Around – Getting to and from Biola is no hassle. The campus is small, but the life is immense with convenient transportation. Cost there is also manageable.

5 College Freshman

Administration: Campus Life – Biola's campus life and atmosphere is unique. People there are friendly for continuing and new students, just like me; it makes the transfer to Biola less freighting than it already is.

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: Biola is unique because they deeply care about each student and and very personable.

Overall Experience: One reason why my school is the best is because the environment. I have such amazing friends and professors who love the Lord and encourage me to continue in loving him as well and shoot for my dreams. It is an incredibly uplifting place and I would never want to be anywhere else.

3 College Junior

Parking: Parking can be somewhat full sometimes, but you can always find a spot. Plus, they are working on more parking space as we speak, therefore I am rather happy and not worried about the parking situation.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
