Administration: There are a lot of rules but its to make us more christlike

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I wish that they would give me more money

5 College Freshman

Campus Food: The food is delectable and its the best!

Campus Housing: My two roommates have made living at Biola the best

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus is definitely cheaper than living on campus. Parking is a pain in the neighborhoods right by campus because they are permit only, so that can get tricky depending on how many of your housemates have cars or when friends come over. But overall, off campus housing is great.

Off-Campus Dining: Just about anything you want can probably be found within a 30 minute commute. La Mirada is very close to multiple cities that have a lot to offer food wise.

Administration: We do have strict policies, but I think they have a positive affect on students and the community of the campus.

Scholarships: Tuition is very expensive and there are not very many opportunities for scholarships from the school.

Campus Food: Flex dollars are awesome and probably my favorite part of the meal plan. You can use them for the coffee shops, the food truck, or the Talon. It's basically a Starbucks card that is included in the price of your meal plan. The caf, although it gets boring sometimes, is still great quality food. Especially compared to other college cafeterias, Biola's is great.

Campus Housing: Living in the dorms is great. There are several options, and each dorm comes with its differences. Biola's dorms tend to have personalities. By that I mean that similar types of people tend to congregate in specific buildings, making for great and unique communities in each. Some are more outgoing and some are more artsy, but whatever your personality type, there is probably a whole dorm of people who you will mesh well with.

Off-Campus Housing: since I do not live off-campus housing, I do not know much about it.

Off-Campus Dining: I do not usually go off-campus for dining because there are many fast foods and it is not cheap.

4 College Freshman

Administration: since our school is a christian school, many faculties and students are very nice and helpful. Most students know what to do and what to not do and the rules do not matter much.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: since Biola University is a private college, tuition was a big issue for my family. I applied for financial aid and got one scholarship in school. However, my parents get loan and it is not easy for them to pay off the tuition every semester.

5 College Freshman

Campus Food: since it is all you can eat, I could have anything in a lot of time. also, there are a lot of different food such as American, Asian, Mexican food. there are a lot of desserts and salads that are sides.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: campus housing in Biola University is a great experience to have. there are a lot of activities that we could do with other students who live in dorms.

2 College Freshman

Party Scene: Biola is not a party school. Plain and simple.....

4 College Freshman

Administration: The administration at Biola organizes everything at school the best way possible.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Campus Housing at Biola is very comfortable, and a nice break from the craziness of life.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: We are located right next to the heart of LA, so there are quite a few options and diverse dining experiences off-campus.

Health & Safety: Campus safety on campus makes me feel the safest I've ever felt. They are all trained police officers so thats nice.

4 College Junior

Majors: My major is Christian Ministries and it is absolutely great.

3 College Junior

Local Area: It's LA county, so there are a lot of people and many streets

3 College Junior

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
