Scholarships: it is definitely a process to get financial aid but they walk you through it pretty well.

5 College Student

Drug Safety: it's Biola, there's no drugs here.

3 College Student

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus, but from what I hear, it is pretty good. It has its perks, but its not exactly a 5 star experience either.

3 College Student

Technology: The only thing that I really have to complain about is that that the wireless connection is not that great. sometimes you have full bars and other times you have one bar in the same location.

4 College Student

Party Scene: Since we are a Christian university, we are God centered so we do not partake in ungodly conduct.

4 College Student

Weather: The weather here is pretty much the same all the time.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: They have a shuttle for students who don't have cars and there are other options to get around easily.

Greek Life: There is no greek life on campus.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: There are good facilities for all areas. Sports are supported and intramurals are encouraged.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The school is expensive and there aren't many scholarships through the school. There is room for improvement with school financial aid.

4 College Freshman

Parking: Parking permits are reasonable and parking on campus is good. They are building a new parking structure for more parking.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Most students live on campus and are encouraged to live on campus as long as they can because it is affordable. I have heard that most off campus housing is close to school and affordable.

4 College Freshman

Technology: The IT help at school is great. Most students bring there own laptop but there are a lot options for students who don't have a computer. There are many places to print on campus and the wifi is great everywhere on campus.

1 College Freshman

Party Scene: Parties are non existent on campus or off. Students sign contracts saying they wont party or drink while enrolled so that greatly reduces the party scene.

Guys & Girls: People on campus are friendly and nice. The school tends to be pretty trendy or dress like hipsters. There are a lot of activities on campus. I never hear of parties on campus or off campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus safety is very good and helpful. I feel very safe on campus and am not concerned about my safety. The campus police are helpful and approachable.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: There are a lot of unique options to choose from. I also like the options to make other things at the salad bar or grain gallery. Over all the caf is good compared to other colleges.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: Well La Mirada is a nice suburb but if you really want to get out of the Biola bubble you need to go to LA

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Biola is very unique where it's a christian based learning and I think that also translates into what we do socially.

3 College Freshman

Campus Quality: I feel like the only places to hang out are the dorms, SUB, and fitness center. Residents life does a lot to keep the students entertained, but not a lot of socializing on a macro level.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There aren't very many dinning options off campus unless you have a car and can drive to fullerton

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Campus dining is wonderful, the only thing is I wish the hours in the cafe would be longer on weekends and Fridays. I know the campus is dead those days, but it is a little disheartening for the none local students who do stay

Health & Safety: I always feel safe on campus, I have called the campus safety a few times as an RA and have always been met with professional service.

Majors: Once in the Nursing program I hear its great and you get a lot of hands on experience. As a Pre-Nursing Program, I didn't enjoy the professional nursing class or Organic Chemistry for I didn't see how it would apply in my future career.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
