Academics: Nursing program is relatively easy to get into compared to other schools. Based on GPA, extracurriculars, etc. - not a lottery. Involves 2 years of gen ed and science pre-requisites then an application to the 3-year clinical program. 5 years for BSN degree. Nursing professors are fantastic, well-respected by students and staff at all clinical sites. Staff in nursing department work very hard for students and are always very organized.

Academics: Generally very easy to get into desired classes. Class sizes are small, professors very eager to help students learn. Workload is decent, but students are pushed to excel. Studying abroad is advertised well and includes Cambridge, Rome, Korea, and many other countries.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
