4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Biola Campus is safe and there hasn't been big issues regarding non-safety. You can call campus police anytime if you're feeling unsafe and would like an escort back to your dorm.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Dorms are fine. Social life is fine. Usually depends on the RA's and student effort to be involved. Quite spacious in the dorms, especially the newer ones.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Sports aren't a huge part of the school.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors and students are all very friendly and willing to offer help if needed.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Its really easy to get to know professors if you put in effort, which makes almost any class more enjoyable

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are resources available to help you but they are kind of out of the way and very much up to your own effort to find and use them

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Other than rare exceptions most people are very safe, and the administration takes any issues in this area very seriously

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Each dorm fosters community in a different way, but most people can find somewhere they fit in

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Well It doesn't exist at Biola so there really isn't much to say here

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: School spirit at sporting events is not that great

4 College Sophomore

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Campus Safety makes me feel really safe, even when I'm walking around on campus at 2 or 3 am by myself. Just knowing that they're around makes me feel protected.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I'm not sure how seriously outside employers take a degree from Biola, but I have heard many success stories of current students who have parents who are Biola alumni, and they seem to have found careers okay.

Campus Housing: The dorms are really spacious compared to public universities, and they're kept really clean. Housing is also relatively cheap compared to tuition, only a little over $5K, and the social life is great. Everyone is kind to each other, and people genuinely care about their floormates.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: A lot of people do get pumped up about the sports games and students definitely show their support, but sometimes they overdo it and show bad sportsmanship.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's great having the privilege to study with people who are totally different and unique but all believe in the same God.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Because of the values of the students on campus, and the campus security, Biola is one of the safest campuses in the country.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I honestly love Biola. It has its ups and downs, but I have made excellent friendships, and the community is wonderful.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There are so many opportunities for students to becomes successful after school. Professors work with each student, and even bring in professionals within different fields. It is easy to obtain internships.

Campus Housing: It is extremely hard to get into the dorm of your choice if you are not already in that dorm. As a female freshman, I found it frustrating and annoying that I had very little options.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Sports are entertaining to watch, especially men's basketball and women's volleyball. It would be nice if there were more varsity sports, and more seating for soccer. Also, to have track meets on campus would be nice.

Overall Experience: I fell in love with this school almost instantly!

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Campus safety is always on top of everything and help me feel safe living off campus

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors at Biola are so friendly and approachable that it has helped me succeed at this university.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
