4 College Junior

Overall Experience: If I could do it all over, I would choose Biola again. The professors really care for their students and want to have a relationship with you. It's a unique school where you can grow spiritually and get a great education.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: I would choose my school again. I love the program, but there are too many politics at a Christian university I was not prepared for.

Athletics: There are no real sports teams. There is a small gym and a couple intramural sports. No school spirit.

Campus Housing: I live in Stewart and although there are a lot of great experiences and people I could talk about, I don't think my money is equated with the quality of the building, amenities, and in comparison to how much the school is either. I didn't get either of my top three choices in housing and probably won't next year either with priority going to those wanting to stay in Hope or Horton for example. I like having my tucked away room though with easy access to the ground and kitchenette right upstairs where the social community is always alive and friendly.

Athletics: The sports games are really popular on campus since it serves as an opportunity for school spirit an a social event; especially students from out of state and without cars. Our soccer field and gymnasium is very up-to-date although we don't have air conditioning in the gym. The athletes are very well known so their image is a big influence.

Overall Experience: What got me hooked on Biola after University Day, an overnight preview experience, was the vibe of the campus and community. I like the hipster, free spirited personalities which rub off as being open minded and motivating. I wish there were more on campus events and activities because some weekends gets really lonely and I feel like I'm at a stand still with meeting new people. I've enjoyed being on the intramural volleyball team and my major encourages its' students to get close to one another.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I haven't seen drugs around so either campos are doing great or the students are hiding them well.

Health & Safety: I think that BIOLA is doing an okay job with the health of their students. As of safety, I think the school could do a better job when practicing for emergency shootings.

Overall Experience: To be honest, I don't have an opinion about this at the moment as I have only accomplished one semester.

Campus Housing: I love all the dorms! I think certain buildings could use a little more attention but it's great overall.

Diversity: As a student coming from a US territory rather than a state, I find it very difficult to relate to fellow students. They tend to place me in a different category even though I am a US citizen just like them.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
