Technology: The IT help at school is great. Most students bring there own laptop but there are a lot options for students who don't have a computer. There are many places to print on campus and the wifi is great everywhere on campus.

Party Scene: Parties are non existent on campus or off. Students sign contracts saying they wont party or drink while enrolled so that greatly reduces the party scene.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: People on campus are friendly and nice. The school tends to be pretty trendy or dress like hipsters. There are a lot of activities on campus. I never hear of parties on campus or off campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus safety is very good and helpful. I feel very safe on campus and am not concerned about my safety. The campus police are helpful and approachable.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: There are a lot of unique options to choose from. I also like the options to make other things at the salad bar or grain gallery. Over all the caf is good compared to other colleges.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: Well La Mirada is a nice suburb but if you really want to get out of the Biola bubble you need to go to LA

3 College Freshman

Campus Quality: I feel like the only places to hang out are the dorms, SUB, and fitness center. Residents life does a lot to keep the students entertained, but not a lot of socializing on a macro level.

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Biola is very unique where it's a christian based learning and I think that also translates into what we do socially.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There aren't very many dinning options off campus unless you have a car and can drive to fullerton

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Campus dining is wonderful, the only thing is I wish the hours in the cafe would be longer on weekends and Fridays. I know the campus is dead those days, but it is a little disheartening for the none local students who do stay

Health & Safety: I always feel safe on campus, I have called the campus safety a few times as an RA and have always been met with professional service.

Majors: Once in the Nursing program I hear its great and you get a lot of hands on experience. As a Pre-Nursing Program, I didn't enjoy the professional nursing class or Organic Chemistry for I didn't see how it would apply in my future career.

Majors: Nursing is a wonderful profession, the only thing is that since its such a heavy major it doesn't give you opportunity to expand you learning in other areas by taking other minor outside of Biblical Studies

4 College Freshman

Parking: With the building of the new parking structure behind Alpha I'm sure the crazyness of parking will go down and there will be more spots available!

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: With the strict contract policy, Biola is a very safe and fun school.

Overall Experience: I LOVE BIOLA! I have learned so much about myself and how to be a good student and have grown closer to God through this entire transition into adulthood with Biola.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love the campus environment, the campus is busy during the school days and quite on the weekends so you can get your work done. I just wish there was more to do on the weekends for the none local students.

4 College Freshman

Technology: The tech team is very helpful with fixing computers and the printing in the library is excellent.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The shuttle drivers are great, the only difficulty is the schedule, it you want to eat dinner in Brea you have to leave around 3 making it almost a half day event, just for dinner.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Since the campus is dominantly white, I can see it's hard for minority students to feel accepted. I truly believe if the tuition was lowered that there would be more diversity on campus.

Academics: As a Sophomore Pre Nursing student, its hard knowing that there are only 40 spots available, I would much rather have the application in the program from the very beginning rather then mid sophomore year, it feels displaced.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I love the integration of faith and learning only offered at Biola. The only recommendation would also have the Bible classes be as small as my specific major classes.

3 College Senior

Diversity: It's a conservative Christian school... so, mostly conservative Christian students. You'll find a few liberals and a few non-Christians, and everyone is pretty welcoming of differing political views. There is a decent amount of ethnic diversity on campus.

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: Weekends can get pretty dead around Biola. Weekdays are very lively; people play intramurals and hang out all over campus. There is not much to do immediately off campus, but the beach, LA, and Irvine are all 30 min away.

5 College Senior

Campus Quality: The Bible classes and professors at Biola really set Biola apart from other schools. Additionally, most classes will integrate the Bible into whatever subject you are learning. It's really amazing to be able to walk around campus and see people praying. Additionally, there are conferences each semester where speakers come from all over the world.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
