4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus is extremely safe at all hours and crime is very uncommon on campus, which is unusual for a college in the Los Angeles area. The campus health center is very convenient and high quality.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I love my school and like noted above having all of my professors being professing Christians is my favorite part, they can share and teach us things that will help us become great professionals but also great men and women of God.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I think that Biola has some of the brightest professors that this country has to offer. I love that each and every single one of our professors are professing Christians. That was the big turning point for me to come to Biola.

Off-Campus Housing: We are located in the suburbs so many of the houses that go for sale can be purchased by Biola Students.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Biola is located in the suburbs but there are still many dinning options off campus that we can go too.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I come from and athletic background playing and attending sports throughout high school, at Biola games are encouraged to go too but the school spirit is rather low at times.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Biola does not have any Greek life on it's campus.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: I don't have a car of my own but the easy of parking with friends close to our dorm or to classes is really easy.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I think that Biola University is a very safe community to live in. The surrounding communities are very safe as well.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Biola really isn't a diverse school most of the students that attend it are Caucasian.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I love Biola's housing the Facilities are amazing, but I am not too thrilled about Open and Closed hours.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: You really just have to push for it, the people that work in the Financial Aid department really do care and want to help us at Biola.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: great places are worth the 20-30 min drives. not too much in the direct vicinity of campus

3 College Freshman

Administration: Biola is strict about drugs and alcohol because its a Christian school. most kids who attend don't do that stuff anyways.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: the biola ratio makes more girls than guys, but theres always ring by spring !

3 College Freshman

Local Area: it can sometimes take awhile to get fun places, but beaches and LA are within an hour away or less

4 College Freshman

Administration: The school is incredibly strict about keeping students' moral lives clean.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: There's not much of a school spirit for supporting the varsity sports. There's no football.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There is literally every single type of person at Biola.

Campus Quality: Campus is beautiful. There are so many spots to explore and life is never boring. Tons of events happen every week there's no possible way to attend all of them.

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Biola has so many opportunities to become involved in on campus. Community projects, study abroad programs, internship opportunities, talent shows, etc... There is so much to grow and shape a person here.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The security team on campus is pretty fantastic. They're almost everywhere on campus at all hours of the day. My highest concern is only non-students from surrounding areas walking onto campus unnoticed and causing trouble.

3 College Freshman

Parking: Parking situations are pretty good. There are normally plenty of spots for everyone at their dorms. The cost of a permit is pretty high though.

4 College Freshman

Majors: You have to apply to get into the school of psychology, but it's not hard to get accepted.

2 College Freshman

Transportation: The bus system is really confusing and inconvenient. If you don't have a car life is rough.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
