Scholarships: Financial Aid process was confusing but I was able to receive money thankfully. However, there was a time where Biola sent me a last minute bill that I had to pay in a week even though school was about to start which was stressful and a hard time for me.

Drug Safety: There is absolutely no drugs and alcohol allowed. However, there are students that still do it somewhere on campus hiding or leave campus to drink, party, and do drugs.

Diversity: Since Biola is a Christian school, things like liberalism or different sexual orientation is not really accepted by a lot of the students. However there are still exceptional students who are embrace those are different.

Local Area: The school is almost located in a neighborhood which is strange in my opinion. In general campus security does a great job in keeping students safe and warnings of any suspicious activity near school or earthquakes which is great.

Administration: Campus can be strict in some aspects since they fine the students if they break rules. But overall campus is great and doesn't affect student's academic or social lives.

Majors: I would like to intern. But I am a nursing major so it is hard to balance out volunteer work/ having school activities while balancing classes.

Majors: I have one more year to apply for the nursing program. I am scared since it seems to be getting harder and harder to get in. But I've heard great things about the program and that it is really a blessing and fulfilling program.

Transportation: There are some walking distance places. However it's better to have a car if you want to enjoy going out and eating at new places and finding neat areas in L.A.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
