Overall Experience: The fact that Biola offers a Christ-centered education truly sets it apart from other universities. You not only feel a more spiritual connection between students, but also with staff and faculty alike, resulting in a very balanced and down to earth approach to higher learning. I am extremely happy I chose Biola, after a series of many other unsatisfying experiences, and if I had it all to do over, I would choose Biola again!

Overall Experience: I haven't started attending there yet (I will be in a month), but I am already in love with the campus and the people there.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I really enjoy this school, it is a smaller campus, but still bustling with energy. It has a an positive atmosphere, which can be a bit scary at first, though you get used to it. Most everyone there genuinely cares about each other and are welcoming.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Biola has been a great experience. There is so much to do and so many people to meet and hang out with that you'll never want to do your homework because people keep inviting you places and to study and watch movies with them. Okay sports team but great everything else!

Overall Experience: Overall, Biola has been a wonderful experience where I've learned more about God, learned more about myself, and have made long-lasting friendships with people that hold the same/similar beliefs as I do. Through Biola I have become more grounded in who I am and what I believe.

Biola has been a great place to grow spiritually, and I think that is something unique about this school. It's also a place that tests your discipline and commitment to integrity. I say this because of the contract that they have undergraduate students sign where you agree that you will not be involved in any drugs, alcohol, and sex while under the contract. The bodily discipline to not participate in any of those activities, especially in college would take discipline, and keeping yourself accountable to uphold that standard would require integrity. That's where the growing spiritually comes in.

If I could choose this school again, I probably would. I think that this has been a growing experience and wouldn't choose to have grown anywhere else during this time in my life.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have met some memorable people here at BIOLA. The friends I have made will stay with me forever. Here the professors not only care about your education but you as a person as well. The community is one of the best things here at BIOLA. Everyone is super nice and don't hesitate to help out a fellow person in need.

Overall Experience: Great for some--not for everyone. I think that you should think hard before going here.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's not what expected as a Christain college.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Medium-sized school and meet some of the coolest people ever. Stewart Hall is awesome!

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I don't know too much about athletics.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: There are not to many parties but the events on campus are enough.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many places where people can go to eat off campus. I think it's great.

5 College Sophomore

Administration: Biola is very strict in many things which makes sense because it is a Christian college. I think the strictness is needed to help us all with our spiritual lives.

Campus Food: The food that is great, from Eagles Nest, is really expensive and I think the cafeteria could do better.

Scholarships: It was hard dealing with my financial aid but the school does everything it can to help.

Campus Housing: I really love the social atmosphere. Some of the dorms were created a long time ago but they are not in horrible condition. The dorm I am living in has been improved in some ways with furniture and soda machines. I love campus housing. One thing that could be better is the lottery time to choose the rooms.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Sports are a somewhat big part of campus, but mostly basketball

Off-Campus Housing: It usually is not hard to find apartments, but costs a large amount of money

3 College Freshman

Administration: From my experience campus safety is strict, but in a healthy sense. There is not any problems from my understanding.

Biola boasts an amazing Christian fellowship that's focused on delivering the Gospel, not only to its students, but to the world surrounding it. In taking classes and attending lectures, students feel much more apt to take on the world, not only with renewed and strengthened faith, but also with a professional education.

Biola can be an adjustment. But once you get involved with on-campus jobs and school events, it becomes much easier. After spending time with the students and faculty, you'll come to realize that you'll never find a school quite like this. But it takes a little bit of work at first. Biola's teaching is amazing, and the community is unparalleled. Nowhere else on Earth can students strike up random conversations with anyone and be able to "Facebook-friend" them and ask them to coffee the very next day. If you value your education and want to surround yourself with God-fearing students serving each other and the Lord, then Biola is the place for you!
