I love the people, dorm life and professors here! So far, I have taken Bible courses such as Theology, New testament and Spiritual Formation, where I've had the unique opportunity to integrate my faith with my academic learning. Also my favorite part of the year is Missions Conference, where thousands of people come to Biola's campus to learn about missions, different cultures and to meet missionaries from every end of the Earth. Biola has provided me with a college experience that has nurtured and cultivated me as a person - something that I value much more than partying every weekend, like other universities promote.

A Is for Always Secure – Biola University's Department of Campus Safety makes great efforts towards securing Biola's property, informing and equipping students to be aware of their surroundings, and finally, they focus on immediate and great customer service. Campus police are present during all hours of the day. As a student, I appreciate that they are friendly, answer questions and respond to both small and great circumstances immediately. During late hours they offer safety escorts to all students to ensure their safety and as well as ensure that students feel comfortable on their own campus. The face of Campus Safety, the Chief, is ever present. He offers self-defense courses several times a semester and speaks in on-campus seminars often about self-protection and crime prevention. In the event of an emergency the campus is informed through text messages, email and phone calls. I definitely feel safe being informed and aware. Finally, the Campus Safety Administration office is always of great help. They are patient in answering both student and parent questions. Although the student population is growing the Campus Safety Department has responded in positive ways by increasing their officers, cadets and gate attendants. I feel safe knowing that 24/7 Biola's campus is always secure!

Biola University is a really great place to be! The campus, in my opinion, is the perfect size as the longest distance you'll ever have to walk to your classes is maybe fifteen minutes. The people here are all so nice and welcoming! You really feel like the community at Biola is thriving. It's a very strongly Christian campus, which it should be because it is a Christian university. The only downside to coming to Biola (if you could consider it a downside) is that there are a lot of rules you ned to follow. Theres required chapels, you're on a contract that restricts you from doing things like drinking or clubbing, and dorm rules are very strict with gender segregation. Other than that, I think Biola is great!
