4 College Sophomore

Diversity: The diversity on campus is vast.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: The school is strict on what it needs to be strict on and is relaxed on what is not needed to be cracked down on.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Off housing is limited because of the size of the town.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Drugs are not something I really hear about. At least no hard drugs, but none of that is really my scene. Alcohol usage is much more abundant. Alcohol is prohibited on campus, but students do still drink. There is some peer pressure, but you don't have to drink to be cool. Anti-alcohol policies are enforced

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Students are not allowed to live off campus unless they are 22, with a few exceptions. This is not ideal with everyone. Also, since Lindsborg is small, it is not easy to find a place. It is just easier to live on campus

3 College Junior

Party Scene: There is one bar in town with a lot of nostalgia and sentimental value. We all love the Ol' Stuga! Beyond that, there are parties off campus

4 College Junior

Diversity: We have many international students, also individuals from many ethnic groups, most individuals are very open to the different ethnic, political, religious, and economic backgrounds of other students

3 College Junior

Transportation: You can walk all across town, but if you need to go to Salina or McPherson you will need a car or to car pool. About 75% of students have cars

4 College Junior

Administration: Faculty treat students like adults, it is a dry campus, and there are consequences for violating policies, but it is by no means too strict of too lenient.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Lindsborg restaurants/places to eat: The Swedish Crown, The Brickhouse Grill, Jalisco's, China, Scott's Grocery Store, The White Peacock, The Old Grind. Most prices are reasonable, the Swedish Crown being the most expensive. Student discounts aren't really a thing. But there is enough variety to keep things interesting.

3 College Junior

Weather: Typical Kansas, there is wind, rain, snow, sunshine and heat, and sometimes all of those things within 24 hours. It's not unbearable though

4 College Junior

Local Area: Lindsborg is CHARMING, it's a Swedish town with plenty of boutiques and coffee shops, along with frequent festivals. It's small, but that is remedied by being within 20 minutes of Salina and McPherson, KS and 1 hour from Wichita, KS, and the town's vibrancy.

4 College Junior

Technology: There are plenty of computer labs on campus (5), PRINTING IS FREE, network reliability has been patchy in the past but they have updated satisfactorily, personal computer is nice but not necessary, personal printer is not necessary

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: Campus is old, but it is put to its best use with new athletic facilities

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are many different types of ethnic groups on campus and we all coincide

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: People in the office are great help. Getting all the money needed in this economy is hard as it is, but they help you out as much as possible

4 College Sophomore

Majors: Majors are very hands on and interesting

5 College Sophomore

Majors: i want to be a physical therapist and this major helps me reach a lot of the pre-req classes

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: school offers no transportation, there are places that are in walking distance but major food restaurants and shopping stores are in the next town

2 College Junior

Party Scene: there is only one bar in town. it is a good distance away from the campus. walking there would not be a problem. make sure you do not get too drunk walking back or you could get ticketed for public intoxication. there are small clubs in the nearby towns of salina and mcpherson. for the big country club you will have to drive 45 minutes to wichita.

4 College Junior

Technology: the is free wireless for the students but it is not always reliable. the tech people have just updated the system though. there are two computer labs and there are usually plenty of computers available. sometimes the speed of the network is slow, but there are also a lot of students on al at once throughout the day and night.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: there are a few restaurants off- campus. they are mostly in the town. but they are pretty cheap and have good food. they stay open usually until 10 pm for the students on campus that miss the on- campus meals.

2 College Junior

Campus Food: there are meals three times a day and they have a kiosk for any one that misses one of the meals. but everything is pricey and the food quality is okay. it is hard to eat healthy at the school and feel like you received your moneys worth. they only give out two different meal plans for people who live on campus. both cost a lot and the difference is only$100 a month.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: you receive some financial aid but usually not as much as you need to make sure you do not leave with a lot of debt. they could give out bigger scholarships to the students who do a lot on the campus.

4 College Junior

Parking: there are a lot of parking lots on campus. it is all free and there is no parking permit. you just have to make sure to keep out of the visitor and handicap parking spots. but both of these are clearly labeled. the parking spots near the dorms fill up quickly, but there is usually some parking near the gym (except game days). the campus is small so the most it takes to get anywhere on campus is 6 minutes.
