Party Scene

{{ error }}
3 College Freshman

Party Scene: no real bar club scene, no underage drinking per se - but lots of activities without drugs or alcohol.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: parties are more social gatherings, music, bonfires, etc

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: There are not many parties on campus but I am not the party-type person. The best parties, I hear, are thrown by the lacrosse team but I never went.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I'm not much of a party person, but the ones I went to had okay entertainment.

2 College Freshman

Party Scene: You have to make your own party. Go to the peach.

Rome doesn't offer many clubs for students, but the Krannert Center Activities Board (KCAB), the major event-planning group on campus, offers many options for students looking for something fun to do on the weekends. There are usually a variety of things to do, including comedy shows and dances, and on special weekends, "Casino Night" and "Spring Fling." Residence halls also host "Late Night Edition," in which resident assistants host an event after a comedian or another activity. One of the most popular ones was the "Rave in the Library."

Off campus, there are two bars that students try at least once with a group of friends: DJ's Tavern and 333 On Broad. These bars allow students to meet up with students from the neighboring college, Shorter University. Overall, students typically stay on campus and hang out with friends. At Berry, food is at the core of socialization, and restaurants often serve as the host sites for these get-togethers. It's not uncommon to see 20 Berry students at one restaurant, as options are limited, but the fun isn't. If students have one ounce of creativity in their body, they are sure to have a great time on or off Berry's campus.
