3 College Freshman

Transportation: There are vans that go to another city but the campus is so small that nothing else is really needed

2 College Junior

Transportation: Transportation at Berea is minimal. Unless you have a car or a friend with a car, there aren't many opportunities to get off campus that aren't somehow school related.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Taxis are five dollars for anywhere in the city to anywhere else in the city. Campus shuttles run every week day with easy sign up. No vehicles allowed for students, however.

3 Recent Alumnus

Transportation: Sharing a ride is your best option. There is a bus station in Berea but I have never used it. The airport is 45 minutes away at best. People are always willing to give rides though.

3 Recent Alumnus

Transportation: Not bad – We have a shuttle that takes us to Wal-Mart. Sometimes, the shuttle takes us to the mall on the weekend. The shuttle services are free and convenient, so if you do not have a car, it would be wise to sign up for this shuttle.

The College provides a shuttle that transports students to different locations in the city, like Wal-Mart and nearby restaurants that are popular with students. The shuttle service is free, so it is not a financial burden to students who want to utilize it. The transportation offered by Berea is perfect, especially for students who do not have their own means of transportation, because it still goes to all the places that students like. The one thing students say would improve the shuttle service is if it was offered every day or at least a few more days, but, overall, the shuttle service here is above average.

The city of Berea does have a taxi service if the college shuttle isn’t going where you need to go. It costs $5, and you can go anywhere in Berea, which is not a bad deal. Berea also has a Greyhound station for anyone who needs to travel longer distances. In special situations, the College will also lend a car to a student who needs to get somewhere in an emergency. Overall, Berea’s transportation services are very helpful, and the College does a good job offering transportation to its students.
